We made it! 12months and counting

I only planned to breast feed for 6 months due to selfish reasons but I found when 6 months came and went, I wasn't and my son wasn't ready to stop.
Tuesday was my sons 1st birthday and also marked 1 year breast feeding.

I've overcame mastitis, poor latch, amongst a whole list of issues and all I can say is that it was totally worth it!

The only thing we now need to crack is sleeping through the night. He was a great sleeper till I came off my mat leave and returned to work then started college two evenings a week. Any suggestions would be great x

Congrats on making it to a year! I' hoping to get at least that far too.
Can't help with the sleeping, I'm afraid - my little man is still waking for two feeds during the night!

Sorry your LO doesnt STTN yet. I have no advice unfortunately; my 2.5 year old still doesn't sleep through!

Thanks ladies. It's only 02:12 and this is our 3rd awakening. Tomorrow will be a long day lol x

Haha...if you find it, please share. We were up 6 times last night
If I was still on mat leave I could cope but I work 2.5 days per week and go to college 2 days per week too. I'm a zombie mummy at the moment x
