Designer "Eleni Bridal" Couture Wedding dress
Bought from Eleganza Sposa in Glasgow.
Cost £3,600 without extras.... £4,100 inclusive of extras.
The dress is a size 12, and comes in two separate pieces: a skirt and a bodice.
The skirt was £1850 inclusive of extra Swarovski's all over which made the dress personalised.
The skirt is made from tulle and a tulle sheen layer to make the dress shine underneath.
It has large Swarovski clusters on the sides which gather up some of the material to give the half moon shape at the front.
There are two pearls also sewn onto the skirt which meets part of the skirt at the bottom of a cluster. This has a tiny loop attached to lift up and put round the pearl to ensure the dress is lifted up when you are walking about.
The skirt is fastened with two hook and eyes, with small press buttons (4mm) down the back to seal you in.
I got pregnant before my Wedding and by this point the dress had already been made, so in the pictures I'm 6 months pregnant and my bump is actually under the front of the skirt because it fastens up at your rib cage. The only thing which I couldn't do was the hook and eyes - I had to be sewed in.
Once the skirt is fastened the Bodice hooks onto it over the top of the skirt to give a sunken in effect.
The skirt has two hoops in it which is more than enough as the dress has so many layers of tulle it's huge.
The bodice was £1750 and is an stunning piece of craftsmanship.
It is entirely handmade with each individual Swarovski hand-sewn on.
It is very rigid and is boned to give that smooth effect.
It has three of four bits that hang off the front (see pictures) in the centre.
It is lace up from top to bottom with a satin panel inserted.
This is what makes the dress variable in size because you can have it tighter if required.
The bottom of the bodice, as mentioned, overlaps the skirt and hooks on to the skirt to make it look like a one piece.
As it overlaps the skirt and hooks onto it, this is how I got away with not fastening the skirt and hiding my bump.
Eleni Bridal is a well-known Designer who often has Celebrities featured in OK! with her dresses on. If you go to the website you will be able to see the these magazine features and real-life brides.
As always with Wedding Dresses it's hard to see the true beauty of the dress in the pictures.

The dress has not yet been professionally cleaned and can be done for around £150.
The dress has a few small tears (1 - 2in) in the tulle which can be skimmed to be removed.
This dress has been personalised so is like no other Eleni dress to buy.

No timewasters if you are trying on. This dress takes a lot to get out and put away.
If you want to leave a deposit you can do so but this will be a personal agreement between you and myself and eBay will not be liable for this.
You can also agree other payment options with me, such as giving me 4 payments before collection if you can't afford it in one go.
