Wedding Fayre - what to expect?

Hi girls, for those of you that have been to wedding fayres what was it like we're going to one tomorrow locally. I heard that some of them have really good samples and money off things.

The ones I've been to have loads of stalls with jewellery, hair and makeup, wedding dresses, honeymoons, venue decorating, etc and they give out brochures and price lists etc. Chocolate fountain stalls and that let you try for free and things like that. There's usually a catwalk show too and musicians playing, wedding cars parked outside etc. There's usually free champagne and canapes etc too.

Pretty much what sovereign said. I've been to several and they've been great fun, good for inspiration and getting ideas. The ones I went to had lots of stalls for all different things associated with weddings such as jewellery, clothing, flowers, entertainment, transport, photography, cakes, you name it really! Most stalls had discounts for the day for example I got 10% off my tiara (kind of like a show price discount). There were chocolate fountains, ice sculptures, magicians, free bucksfizz and sweets, competitions, a catwalk show, dance demo, hair and make up demo, and an opportunity to try dresses on. They had lots of different types of decorated cars outside to look at and leaflets were handed out here there and everywhere lol. Personally I think they're fantastic and a good day out if nothing else! I've certainly found lots of suppliers that I am using via wedding fairs.
