Where are you getting them from and if you don't mind sharing how much have spent/budgeted?

Me and OH really want the rings to be the one thing we splash out on as they're the one thing from the day that you keep with you forever xx

My engagement ring was almost £400 (OH obviously chose it, i personally wouldn't have spent that much on a ring!) so i got a cheaper wedding ring, it was actually found it quite hard to find a ring to go with my engagement ring.

We've spent quite a bit on ours, around £1k in total but we're going to be wearing them for the rest of our lives so thought we'd invest.

We got ours from a local jewellers. Mr Boofs has got a plain thick palladium band - its a dull silver colour (he didnt want anything too shiny) and it cost £350. My platinum band was £675 before being made to fit (that cost an extra £100) Its really quite a thick band I have to match the band on my engagement ring, so thats what made it more expensive. (other bands in there were around the £400-£600 mark) The price of platinum is going up so its best to buy asap if thats what you want xxx

Hubby's is an 18k 5mm gold band from a local jewellers and cost £250ish. Mine is a 4mm D shape comfort fit platinum band from Blue Nile and cost £600ish.

Engagement ring was a tad more

We've budgeted upto £1500 total for both our rings but we want heavy platinum so thats the expense and engraved inside!

Just plain polished rings we are having, not sure where from as of yet

Mine was about £400, and OH's is his grandads who recently passed away. My engagement ring was about £800.

just make sure they are blood free... in the end thats what matters. you dont want the ring that represents your love to be created by people forced and killed for it.

We aren't splashing out on fancy rings as tbh we can't afford it and would much rather prefer to get a decent photographer then have to cut back on that to get decent rings.

Me and my partner aren't fussed as we know its what the ring represents thats the most important and we can always save up and replace the rings at a later date x

I know couples who have done that, bought cheaper rings to exchange on the day but when they had the money bought expensive ones.
