I have recently had my second c section and I am really concerned about my stomach, its worse than the first time round, it looks like I have got a pot belly :( I know the midwives said it will go down in time but I'm not convinced. Anyone have a similar experience? X

The thing that helped me was wearing a belly wrap. I wore one everyday and only took it off to shower and the 1st weeks my stomach went done a lot, by the 3rd week my stomach was flat again. Your supposed to wear it for 6-8 weeks but I wore mine for 3-4 weeks and still achieved results. It helped so much with recovery and holding everything together. The only thing that I have left if the little pooch over my scar but with exercise I know that will be gone soon.

^^Wss
I was given an abdominal binder after my 2nd section as well as with my first and it helps to flatten your tummy. I'm still wearing mine (well it's different than the one I was given at the hospital) and I'm 9 wks pp, but will probably stop after this week.

I didn't wear a binder but my weight has gotten back to pp weight after 4 months. I still have a c-section shelf, but I think that's part of the territory :)

It took me over a year to lose all the weight. I ended up thinner than even before. My stomach after two sections never went back. I have the lovely self. I have my third section this Summer and I will be binding myself like nobody's business.lol
