I started my journey over a 18months ago when my Max died..... some of u might remember him and the pregnancy.
AFTER max well during i was sterilized so our only option was IVF or reversal, reversal is no go as i dont have enough tube left to reconnect so IVF it is.... so Nov 2009- Jan 2010 i lost enough weight to get me on to egg share scheme bmi needed to be below 30 mine was 35 at beginning........
so we went to an open evening at Darlington then had consultation week later paid all bloods and hubbys sample. all came back except my day 3 bloods. so i had to repeat them then i was good to go.... i waited and waited continued to loose weight and got to around June still no period gave up on whole thing had tummy tuck as i was now 9s 11lb with bmi of 24. something....
thing is we both changed our minds again but i went to work for the company i lost my weight with and can afford to pay for treatment without egg share however my flipping periods still have not arrived. we went for a follow up at Darlington and im pretty sure its my diet im now 8s 5lb and i live off around 600-800 cals a day. I guess this is my problem. as off Monday gone so nearly a week Ive been on 1250-1500.
I traced back in my diary and i ate totally normal over Christmas so 24th DEC-2/3rd Jan i then had a 3 day period on 11/12/13 Jan.
At Darlington they done a scan and womb normal size, ovaries of normal size but i have thin lining.... Ive to get gp letter and st Marys letter saying they support my treatment and were off but i still need my periods.... letters are no trouble.
ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY RECEIVED....with st Marys and private midwifery care i aim for a full long healthy pregnancy but ivf is the only way.
