Just a few bits...
Got Caitlyn weighed today and she is 14lb 4oz, double her birth weight!. HV is very pleased and said Caitlyn must have been reading the book as she is following the chart exactly. It was a boost i really needed, feeling down in the pits lately.
Also, she's been rubbing the left side of her head a lot lately. Can't see anything wrong with her ear and see seems generally well. Is this just another sign of teething or is there an underlying problem.
Last one, I've been trying Caitlyn on little bits of food but she really doesn't have the feeding reflex yet, or whatever they do. She knows how to suck but not how to swallow from a spoon. Is this because she is too young or does this mean i will need to try a different way of weaning her? ie, BLW?
I'm not weaning her just yet, just giving her bits here and there for taste. She can eat Rusks but not anything on a spoon, it just doesn't go down. She appears to like the taste but can't swallow it.
I'm clueless.
Thank you,
