Weird plastic in tots bots nappy?

I brought a tots bots hickory dickery clock print which I'm sure is v4 anyway it's got a weird plastic part in the pocket anyone else have this? I've got a birthday print v4 which doesn't have it. It seems really fragile, like my finger will go through it when I'm stuffing it. Is anyone else's like it?

The laminate has come off the fabric. Was it secondhand? I have had it happen with a few pocket nappies in the past when washed too hot too frequently.

To be honest I would be pretty angry if I bought it off someone as they must have noticed themselves. Some nappies keep working fine once that happens, but mine did not. The laminate ripped in the wash after a while.

It was brand new! I only brought it yesterday and had a good look at it today! Is there anything I can do or do I need to return it ?

I returned today , they didn't have the same print in stock so I ended up getting the hansel and gretel v3 and oh my gosh it's so soft inside! Thanks for your help!
