Just got a call from my doctors and the urine sample i did for my first MW appoitment has come back " abnormal " so i have to give another one and retest.

It got me worried at first but receptionist said it could be something rele simple like a dirty bottle they used or sumet.


Anyone else have this problem ?

Sorry Stacey, didn't wanna read and run - but nope, not had this one.

I would imagine she is right about the dirty bottle or something as doctor's receptionists are not allowed to deliver any bad news (i don't think so anyway). I believe that you would've been called in or the doc themself would've called you if it was bad.

Can you pop in tom with a 'fresh' sample?

yep i had to repeat a urine sample last week because the results were 'out of the range' i panicked too but i realised its very common and means nothing serious

sometimes it can be they can see a little infection and want to check again to see if its gone or got worse, but water infections are not serious at all when treated with antibiotics ive had about 6 in this pregnancy lol xx

I haven't experienced this but I'm sure it is something easily sorted, like dirty bottles
