Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Hello Ladies --

No BFP last month, but on to this month and hopeful. All the talk of food on these most recent posts makes me hungry! I hope everyone is having a great day/week and able to relax and enjoy all the TTC!

Good Morning!

So I got a temperature drop today but still only the spotting that is brown in color and not even close to being enough for a tampon. Hmmm...maybe later today AF will come, because I absolutely don't feel pregnant at all!

Hi ladies sorry been missing in action ds had accident with a cup of coffee so had hospital and we supposed to be going away to south of France on Friday but it all depends on what hospital says tomorrow and if more treatment needed he is all bandaged up at moment

I also think I may have a shadow of a line very hard to see but defo there I am 8dpo cd 22 and I have a 24-25 day cycle so due on friday

I am so sorry to hear about your DS. I hope the hospital has great news and you get to make your trip to France.

Shadow of a line, huh? Woohoo! I wish there was a picture for us to see!

Hmmm could be IB? I hear you about not feeling pg. I'm cd21, 7 or 8dpo, don't feel anything other than bbs feel full and large which they would with all the salt I've been eating and for being a week away from AF. However, I noticed this morning that the veins in my bbs and upper chest are closer to the surface, I can see the blue where I don't normally see them. CM is kind of dry. Other than that I feel zero, zilch, nada.

How's everyone else, Ali, Coy??

Alin! Sorry to hear about your DS, hopefully he will be given a clean bill of health and you can make your trip!
WOW! A faint line, I hope it gets darker tomorrow!

Jess! How big of a temp drop did you have? I hope you are PG but if you aren't I hope AF hurries up so you can start a new cycle!

AFM.. crappy morning so far.. no sleep, late to work, computer running like a snail, and now the Internet is down! I did have my scan and bloodwork this morning. Left ovary has 7 follicles at 9, 9, 8, 8, 8 and 2 smaller and the right has 4 follicles 8, 8, and 2 smaller. The tech said that was good but they are developing slowly (not a surprise to me) as this is what always happens!

My temp went from 97.9 to 97.13...:(
Your Follicle development looks great!!:happydance:

Hey All,

Just a quick note as I'm off out shortly, but I think I'm nearly there, will hopefully be ovulating very soon. The 2 IC tests I do show a feint line, but the digi is still saying negative for now.

Hope you're all ok.

T. x

Well, Hello HappyEnding!! Welcome to this wonderful site!

Thanks jm1355... maybe my story will give some of you hope... I had my daughter at 19 and then had my son at 35. I'm now 41 and decided I wanted one more :) With my son I got pregnant the first month trying but mc at 6 1/2 weeks... then again got pregnant immediately and had a fantastic pregnancy. I am now 41 and more concerned about my chances of getting pregnant and having a healthy baby but God willing it will happen for me!

Gooood morning ladies! :coffee:

Well, had a good nights sleep again! So totally weird  but I think Kat is making an effort :hugs: Because she climbs into bed with me every morning and proudly announces taht she "didn't wake me up last night" :haha:

Jess- aha, I see the temp dip but you have me wondering with the spotting??? Could be IB. As it is brown that's what I am thinking. Although, I gotta say, when I was "thinner" (LOL!) and workingo ut steady and cutting fat (another LOL!) my AF's almost disappeared completely and often wouldn't show at all. When they did they were scant and lasted maybe a day. So I wonder if your work-out routine has something to do with it? Also, maybe this is tmi (naaaaahhh) but have you ever thought maybe Tampons are causing a bit of toxicity? I never used them as I couldn't imagine walking aorund with something "in there" but always worried about the toxicity too. Pads may be betetr or liners?

Ali- yay for getting your bloodwork done, and all is looking great. Slow yeah, but that's normal  so no worries. doc may just have to adjust his schedule by a day or two. As for being late to work - pfft. :haha: Try to get some rest and quit stressing!!!!!!

Alin- yay for a shadow line! I am sure I speak for all of us on here when I state emphatically that we all wanted to see the pic anyway :growlmad: LOL! Wow, and a trip to France? Take me with you!!!!! Sorry to hear about DS accident with the coffee-- how old is he? Years ago my sister dumped a whole pot of boiling down my brothers arm, poor little guy :nope: Only accident I've ever had with coffee is missing out on a cup :haha: Hope he feels better soon :hugs:

Terri- woot woot! Looks like you will OV soon!!!

All you new-comers--Welcome!! :happydance: Great to have you on board! This is a very supportive and upbeat thread I love all the ladies on here

Oh yeah- sorry for all the typos ....

K, probably pet peeves...:haha:

So dh has this recent habit, if I leave food out on the counter (or if he does) and I fail to put it in the fridge he makes this big production about doing it, then finding me, pointing out to me that he placed it in the fridge. He'll often go on and on about it "Just so you know hon, I put the tomatoes in the refirdgerator- you know, so they won't go bad...and I had to cover them first. And I put the hot dogs in the fridge too...after I covered them...so they won't go bad..." LOL! :haha: I feel like, every time I wash dishes I should wash his plate then exclaim loudly "Honnnnneeeyyy- I just washed oyur plate. And I rinsed it. Then I put it in the cupboard. With the other plates I just washed....just so you know" :haha: I am finding it funny tody but I am sure it will annoy me later.

Maybe that's where hormones kick in?

I bet it hurts, poor little guy!

I'm now waiting for my FS to call and let me know what my estrogen levels were, and what they want me to do for meds today and tomorrow. They may have me increase my dose, or maybe I'll just stay where I am. Not really sure what they want me to do!

I am so very tired, 3 hours of sleep, then off to my Dr's appt only to be delayed because the US Tech was stuck in traffic. Then I get out of there, and figure its only a 10 min drive to work, good! Well that 10 minutes turns into 25 because I hit EVERY light then get stuck in traffic on the highway. I get there, my computer is not responding properly and I have to reboot it to do anything. I finally get it back up and the internet goes down! I'm like really? This is ludicrous. Boss finally told us to go home and work remotely. So now I'm home and happy to be here. It means I can crawl into bed around 5 :) :yipee:

Aww...That's what happens to us mothers! :growlmad: I often think that little kid injuries are worse for their moms! We stress and worry and fret- and they hardly notice  My dh and I have been soooo fortunate in the burn department, as our dd's have neither one of them been burned. We have however rushed them to emergency room more than once, usually for cracked heads  as they love to run in dangerous places :haha: Highwire, monkey bar...you name it. Each has had either MRI, Catscan, and numerous x-ray performed. Now dh and I both need therapy :haha:
