Coy... I fancy doing a doctorate as well, looked into one last month but it was going to cost £3k per annum (part-time!!!!!). With my work situation at the moment no can do I'm afraid. I stopped at a Masters about 6 years ago but for some mad reason want those letters 'Dr.' before my name. Have you any idea what you would do your doctorate in?

I'm only 7dpo. If af doesn't show then maybe Sat at 12 dpo. Dh really wants this to be our month. He is so excited he keeps talking about getting the call that I'm in labor... I really think he believes it happens just like it does in the movies. Silly boy.

thank you! SA for my DH was good; wasn't told that there might be issues. Will wait for period and then schedule appt for consultation. We both are willing to try again...

I had my BETA this morning too. Big I know it is hard to go through. I was a basketcase all weekend, just ask everyone here! It was only my First IVF. Still I was a mess. Maybe we can figure out what we can do to better our odds together?

Hi Everyone..

So sorry for the delay.. I was caught talking with the Dr, and then the nurse and it took like an hour, then I had to call my mom, and ahhh.. its been crazy busy here since I found out just after 3.

So it was a BFN The Dr called me himself to tell me the news. So that is kinda sad. I'm surprisingly OK though. I knew it would be negative.

So then the nurse called me a few minutes later and she wanted to tell me that they were changing the protocol. So we had to discuss that. This one I will be on BCP (birth control pills) then a drug called Lupron for 10 -14 days, then we will stim for 10 and then poof I will have eggs. So the whole process takes like a month or 2. So I think they want me to start the BCP like this month? IDK. I have an Appt with the Dr tomorrow at 11:30 to discuss. I also am hoping for a bigger discount on the costs. She mentioned that with this protocol I will be able to get the drugs 1/2 price from the company in England, so that is a huge help (like 2500 instead of 5000). So if they discount their fees and with that discount, and they owe me some money because they didn't do the hatching ($550), it will be cheaper next time. We will discuss the price of it all tomorrow as well.

Ali. So sorry you had a BFN. But I am thankful that there is a plan in place for you. Sounds hopeful that they will discount the price.

Ok feeling like pre-af like cramps...just a very dull ache...probably poking around too much checking cp. She has been known to show up at 25 days here and there...and getting the beginning of a headache like I get 1-2 days before af. That would be cd25 and 9dpo. Sunnuvabitch I hope not!

Oh hun Like I said, it might not be the path you want, but the journey will still get you to your destination. I truly believe that. Whatever you need we are here for you. Now you have to ask yourself, do you want to hop right back into it, or take a breather and get back into some healthy exercise and yoga to help with the stress of the process.

No matter what you decide, we will be cheering for you every step of the way.

Ugh, thought labor was starting there for aminute...sharp contraction type pain in one side, extreme discomfort, but it faded But (TMI WARNING!!) had some serious bm which can be a major indicator of imminent labor as your body clears out in prep...plus babes is not kicking as much- another symptom- plus having to pee all the time I get that "Oh crap, here we go" feeling, but labor pain is a must-do so i gotta tough into it! Here's to hoping I get this done qquick! LOL!

Ali- you are my inspiration, you are such a determined lady! I know you will get your baby(s) soon! And it sounds like you have a wonderful FS that really cares and is willing to work with you! So glad toot hat the cost has been cut for you Love ya!
