Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Alin- by looks of your chart you'd be what- 3DPO? Judging from the ewcm and rise in temp. I had the runny/stuffy nose too- I wonder if that is progesterone or what?! Wow, I didn;t know you had done both c-section and vag birth! Both of mine have been vag birth...something about them knocking me out and avoiding the whole dramatic pain routine is appealing :haha: But I am not ig on a long recovery! So hoping for a speedy vag birth again this time :) And yes, I hope she comes today! It's my EDD, so...

FirstTry- are you serious woman? YES WE WANT TO SEE!!!!! We are addicted to pics :haha: Yay! Congrats congrats congrats! I can't wait to see the pic......:headspin: Ok, I scrolled ahead to the pic- it doesn't really look like an evap to me...especially on these strips. And since you used fmu there is a good chance it's bfp  And with 20 mIU sensativity...Frer is def lower than that I think - I always had excellent results with frer but some don't. If you can try one out in the mornging! (or now.... lol!) Try it now! :haha:

Terri- thank you for giving posting directions, my mind went blank when I read "evap line" as I know evaps are not always evaps! :haha: Btw- did you know very vivid dreams are an indication of bfp? I had them too  And your chart temps are looking great so far!

Babydust- O my heck your chart looks fabulous right now! Def ovulated and we may be looking at bfp????:happydance:

Oooo Jess-! Your tems looks fabulous too and you are...7DPO! EEK! You ladies are getting me all excited! I've even got my toes crossed!

Ali- how are ya? I see you on here but no "AFM" from you :nope: Hope you are getting better and feeling good! Are you at work today?

Where's Babywhisperer?

AFM- here I am...:sadangel: Still got a babes in my tummy :haha: She is stub-born! lol! What am I gonna have to do....:coffee: hmm.....

not much to report...hmm, let's see, symptoms...

- Increased discharge, clear
- Incredibly sore hips- feels like rusty pins when I walk :haha:
- Insomnia
- Exhaustion
- My belly has dropped very low (I'll try to take a pic today)
- Spikes of pain in nipples and breasts
- I have a low hanging bowling ball between my legs (that's how it feels) :haha:
- And, um, I want to waddle but won't let myself...is that a symptom of impending labor

The doctor did tell dh and I that he can pop the waters very easily any time we want to "move things along" and I am happy to say that if we need to induce that would be our first method of choice  Today is our EDD so we are not worried yet and doc said he would keep an eye on the amniotic fluid...

Dh has been brushing up on labor-at-home tips...he knws all about breaking waters, turning shoulders, which shoulder to deliver first, etc, but always good to brush up. And I have a sack full of absorbent pads and we have decided if I do have to give birth at home and we don't have the bed properly coveerd its in the kitchen! lol! :haha: That way it's easy to clean.....I really don't think it'll happen that fast though....but his ex-wife delivered her 4th baby in 7 minutes!! They were half block from hospital but her water broke at home and the baby's head was already out in the hospital elevator! Dh was turning the shoulders when doc ran in  So I am confident in his ability but sure hope we don't have to go that route for babes sake

And I am really hoping I'm not over-due like forEVER or that I have a supremly long labor.......8-[ lol!

I read something about using evening primrose oil as a (gross out warning) vaginal suppository to induce labor. DON'T take my word for it, but maybe look into it and ask the doc, if it looks promising?

FirstTry- I have heard that too but not sure where in this town I could get it :haha: Plus I am a bit nervous trying anything at this point. I think I'd be christening her head with primrose oil  lol! She is that low....why doesn't she just come out already? :growlmad: Humph! LOL!

I can't wait for you to test again!!!!:test: I am all for encouraging patience and caution--don't get your hopes up bit but I could never help myself! I always got my hopes up no matter what and I always tested too early  Woman Nature :)

Hmm..just read this bit online...

"Birth after the spontaneous onset of labor is most common in the early afternoon, and most births occur in the fall."

Well...Um, I'm..I'm ready......you know, whenever. :growlmad:

I'll test in the morning. Funny re christening with epo :haha: Btw, you can buy epo at your local pharmacy, in the vitamin aisle, for future reference.

A quick story: this morning, DH was there when I tested. Last time he was there when I got a BFN, I burst into tears. I hate disappointing him even more than disappointing myself. So, today he said "I don't want to see a line. I'll love you more if there's no line." I thought tha was so cute and sweet.

I didn't show him the evap because I don't want to confuse him or get his hopes up. Plus, my temp isn't that great, so less cause for hope.

Thanks for the tips re:epo...and that is sooo sweet of your dh! :hugs: Very supportive of you! My dh is supposrtive too and I love that about him- even when we had our mc he was more worried about how I felt and how I would handle it than anything else. It DOES help whent hey are supportive, we need that!

And I just wanna say--I got TONS of hope fore you :hugs: But I understand where you're coming from :hugs:

:coffee: For my kids to get their stuff together so they can go clean the Methodist church. I was going to send them to the park, but I forgot they clean a local church today, so they will be out of the house for a couple of hours. Right now they are taking their time getting it together... :coffee:

Um, they really need to leave soon. :haha:

Um, yeah, we had plans . DH was getting impatient and pretty much kicked the kids out.

Lol! If it helps to be impatient this baby oughtta be here by now! Aaargh! I am experiencing a rare moment of "I can't take it anymore" I'll be okay in a few minutes, but for now....

Wow, my labors have always been active in the morning too! Ummm...what are hind waters?.......

On the note of waters though the doctor/MW has always had to break mine too  not sure why .

You have 2 lots of waters 1 at the back of baby which are the hind waters and the main waters at the front,I was told this as I thought my waters had gone with 3 of mine but was always my hind waters I always carry a lot of fluid when pg and the mw know to be prepared for niagra falls when breaking my waters pmsl.

I have tonight started with backache and achy hips,I really hope I don't get bad spd and sciatica in my next pregnancy that's only thing I'm dreading along with morning sickness.

Any signs of that baby girl coming at all lol

Aha! Thanks, I didn't know that about the waters....your chart is looking good btw, I was comparing to the last couple of months on your charts and seems like you got some awesome days of ewcm whereas you don't usually, right? I saw one day on one of the months but other than that...hopefully this is a great sign for you! And great timing on bd as well  Keep at it :sex: lol! FX'd!

Re: signs of baby..YES! lol! Everything but her! :haha: I am getting super excited though  Went for a couple of long walks today and this evening took the dd's out for a long walk. We tracked some deer they got a blast out of that. My old Alaskan bush skills are still going strong! :smug: lol (I grew up and lived in the Alaska bush for twenty plus years) I feel pretty good when I can track a couple deer through the city!

I also had an incredible amount of water! They couldn't stop talking about how much water I had. I had a lot of complications with my dd at the end and my mil (who is a nurse) came up with a theory...wish I could remember what it was called...hyperhydrosis????maybe??? I will look it up...and get back to you...I also had outrageous sciatica pain:(

Okay...update...it's called polyhydramnios...lol:) Hyperhydrosis is when you sweat too much lol :)
