Wow...everyone is progressing nicely! I'm so happy to read all these, however, I understand being cautious. My fingers, toes, and everything else is crossed for you ladies!!
My update: My husband had his appointment yesterday with his urologist. His testosterone improved greatly, but they said that probably will not improve his count. They will do another SA early July, and if it hasn't improved much, then him and I decided we will proceed with IUI with donor sperm, most likely starting in August as I have some international travel planned in July. He's 100% cool with that idea, but wants to make sure the donor is at least 6'4, brown hair and ideally has a doctorate like him. At the end of the day, I will let him decide on the donor sperm, as I feel that is only fair. I don't blame him...we want to find someone as similar to him as humanely possible, and we'll figure out how to navigate this with our families. I'm sure they won't care, but I think it's important to be transparent with them in terms of the biological make-up of their grandchild.
Ali: Anxious to hear about your FS update today!
JandK: Very happy to see your BFP! Keep the faith!
Chantal: Thrilled that everything is progressing nicely for you!
Angel: So cute you have a baby bump now!
Grey Eyes: Baby Dust!
And everyone else...I stay updated on you all! Let's keep the BFP coming!!

Melly.. sounds like you have made some great decisions! As you know I used DS (donor sperm) and so did JandK. There are several companies out there that you can choose from. My FS recommended the following: California Cryobank, Fairfax and Xytex. I didn't like California Cryobank, they had a bunch of very good looking 'boys' that were all waitstaff hoping to be actors. It turned me off. Fairfax had a large amount of donors that had advanced degrees, but they wouldn't give the age of the donor (and that concerned me). I ended up using Xytex as they had a variety of men with different scholarly backgrounds, and I was able to get a birth year so I knew how old my donor was. Plus Xytex had a 3 month package that allowed you to view all photos and other information about all the donors which was rather inexpensive. Another thing to think about is that with DS the have been frozen so they don't always have the same motility as they did fresh. My FS suggested we do 2 IUI back to back. It is more expensive but you have a much greater chance (or so he said). Best of luck!!!

Good to know. We were leaning towards Fairfax because it's actually based here in Austin and we wouldn't have to wait to be delivered, I think we could go and pick up the specimens without potentially being compromised in the travel process. I'll take a look at the other banks as well, however.
Good luck at the FS today!

Wait what? I thought the Fairfax one was in VA? I didn't look into it that deeply. Well let me know if you have any questions. It was important to me that I have a younger donor since my eggs are so old. That is why I didn't like Fairfax. The donor I ended up going with was 30, so not too young, but I got the impression from some of the bios that the donors at Fairfax were in their mid-late 40s. That was simply too old for me.
BREAKING NEWS.. JUST IN... BETA 395
It is getting faster at its doubling, it is now doubling in 49 hours, so each beta is better! I don't think I will be getting anymore betas though. Just the U/S on Jun 12th.

I told everyone I was having a turtle since my embryos look like sea turtles to me. Well now I really think I'm having a turtle.. slow and easy wins the race! I'm just happy that it is still growing and doing doubling appropriately.

Ali, silly girl with how much you read on this board and research you know some betas start off low and slow and catch up later on. You will be fine. Try not to get all anxious. Relax and rest as much as you can. Allow your body to do what it is intended to do. It knows by know what you are trying to do and it will go smoothly. I cannot wait for your scan!!! I want to know if its twins!!!
How's V doing?? What a modern family you guys could have!!!!!!
Afm, nausea has lessened somewhat, I was so exhausted last night I fell asleep at 8:15 on the couch then went to bed when dh got home from work at 10.
Say prayers and cross fingers for us. We are going to see a house and it will likely end up in a bidding war the way other homes in our town are going. It went from a buyers to a sellers market in the span of a few months due to low inventory. How nerve wracking!!! If this doesn't work we will end up in a van down by the river!! I love that SNL skit.
Have a fabulous day! It's going up to 90 in NYC!

That just isn't fair. Are you sure it was a false positive?? You lost one early last cycle right? Have you spoken to your doctor about this? It might be a pattern that could reveal an issue that could be corrected. So sorry hun. I'm gutted for you.
