Welcome to 'Trying To Conceive Over 35'

Ali, I never had any luck with FRER, but I always did really well with Clearblue Easy (which is what it looks like you used in your pic?) .... my bfp at 9dpo and onwards was with clear blue.... I only caution you that even if the test says it's 12.5 miu it does not mean that every single test is absolutely rated that low.... it's all over the place and because a negative test can turn into a positive test (i.e.: women who test early would get a false neg) nobody ever takes the test in later to see if it was accurate... so there is limited reliability with some of the tests..... which, of course, is why I was a poas addict and only stopped, really, when I started to feel her move about! (I know, I'm crazy!)
My first pos tests were super duper light... like I couldn't get the camera to pick up what I was seeing light.... but after about 3 days they started getting darker, so don't give up hope yet!! I think you will be celebrating before you know it! then it's a whole 'nother world!!!

So today I went in for my 3D ultrasound. My Father in Law was able to login on his computer and watch what was on the monitor in real time! He's in another province, so it was a real treat for him to see what his next grandbaby looks like!
I tried to put a photo up on my avatar for you all to check out.... I think she's beautiful, but then I'm a little biased!!
It's a miracle, and one worth everything you ladies are going through.... I was where you are, and now I'm here.... super duper hoping everyone gets their own miracle baby and soon!!!
much love,
phil.

She is so precious! How amazing to be able to see such detail. Modern technology is so amazing...but now they should focus on hpt's being better!!

BabyWhisperer I totally agree! and they need to improve on the reliability of OPK's TOO!!!! we assume they are reliable, but with this baby, I wanted to kick it up a notch and was doing 4-5 different OPK's each day.... so I bought like 5 different kits... 2 were the smiley faced ones, 2 were frer's opk's and one was clearblue with the lines.... both the smiley faces ones picked it up straight away, the lines was pretty good, but the frer's never did pick up my surge..... and they were supposed to be the 'sensitive' ones!!

See! Everyone is different. Wait for the beta. Your patience will be rewarded.

I'm not going to test again, I'll just save the tests for next week when I do get my BFP (BETA).

Where is Coy?
Hello Coy!

Here I am! Lol, I was doing a :headspin: in the kitchen for the last little bit! I figured if I wanted time to read through all these posts I better feed everybody

K, when I tested with FRER on 9 dpo it was stark white like you described. Talk about being disappointed! I thought "well crap- of frer doesn't catch it...:sad1:" but I decided to test the next morning with another frer and -bang. There it was. Sometimes a day is all it takes! Crazy to be so darn clear and white and then next day there it is. And for Phil- she says frer didn't work ata ll really. So (and I hate to say it again) every woman is different. I agree with Phil- don't get discouraged over what seems to be bfn's- they turn to bfp's so fast.

You have been doing everything right. Your eggs are awesome. Your lining is awesome. All of your hormone levels are perfect. Try not to stress. If testing stresses you out too much then don't test. I read one lady online today at 15dpo had very light hcg levels at her beta but doc told her it was excellent...sometimes it takes longer despite what the stats always tell us. The link you gave sounds very much like your symptoms, try not to focus on timing too much and go ahead and wait for your beta- heck it's just around the corner anyway! Let's see...what, 5 days? Not even a week! If you just can't stand it then you have tests to use but don't put too much stock in them :hugs:

Where is Coy?
Hello Coy!

Labor, maybe...?

I WISH! This little girl is going to be just as stubborn as the other two  I just hope she doesn't make me wait 3 weeks past my edd like Kat did :growlmad: OMG that'd be miserable! She already wedges and shoves so hard almost all of her movements are painful  I'm like "Come out already!!" :haha: Man, and my legs are killing me from all the muscle cramps. Dh is wondering what's wrong with me and I stare at him and say "Late pregnancy- that's what it is" NO! He argues with me! I guess he doesn;t remember the other two. Muscle cramps are typical late pregnancy.

Hello Coy!

Labor, maybe...?

That is what I was wondering.. can't wait to hear! Course I don't know if we will for a few days, will we? HMM.. Well I hope she is OK!!

Believe me ladies bnb is the first place I'm checking in to after babes is born! After all this waiting and testing and pregnancy growing etc etc I can't wait to tell you how it all went! I gotta moan and groan to my buddy's lol!

BabyWhisperer-

I know FF just said your chances are "good" but with the bd'ing you did the days prior there is bound to be some soldiers in the waiting! In fact I have read that is often more reliable a method than waiting for ov day as there is no guarantee how long the egg will live. Sometimes 36 hours sometimes 24 hours sometimes only 6! So if only 6 then it'd take too long for ov day :spermy: to get there :nope: So it's better that you bd'd the days prior  Especially those girl sperm waiting in the wings, I guess the girls live longer  We're just tougher :smug: lol!

K, well, I can still be a chatter box! :) here's my AFM:

What I am feeling. Ahem.

Leg pain from cramps

My lower tummy feels like it is going to explode from holding a very cramped up baby.

Pelvic pain- I mean sharp, stabbing pain, usually right there, iykwim

Hip pain from spreading- last night I rolled and dumped out of bed :haha: to go check on the girls and could barely move! Standing straight was out of the question so I just waddled all bent up! LOL! After a bit the stiffness fades and I feel half way normal again though

Diminished appetite. Kind of nauseas once in a while. Sleeping in every day  so not AS exhausted....

My doc appointment is today (late afternoon) so he will check my cervix again. Here's to hoping I've not stalled out and I'm actually dilating more!! I'm going to igmore his jealous assistant though--last time she says "ok, let's see how you did" and I stare ather for moment and say "In regard to what? " She turns her mouth down all fakey sad and says just loud enough for dh to hear "Let's see how much weight you've put on this week" LOL! Lady, my dh has seen it all, touched it all (tmi, sorry) and been everywhere around it all! He's still here and still jumps me so I'm seriously not worried

I'm here! My BF asked me why I didn't get as much work done on my thesis yesterday as I did the day before. I told him I was too preoccupied with FF. He said he understood and that we could watch the game tonight. That is when I realized that when I said "FF" he thought I meant Fantasy Football...as opposed to Fertility Friend!!

Awww....:sadangel:...now I'm on , everybody has gone....:sadangel:.......:sad2: lol!

I'm here. I have been reading but not posting much this morning. I feel soooo  . I would get excited about that but DH isn't feeling to hot today either. :(

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

That assistant is such a joke!! I mean really? Come on now...I wonder if she is like that with all the handsome guys that come in with their pregnant partners?

Wouldn't it be awesome if WE could be just carry the baby, but our DHs were the ones who got all the symptoms?

Then we could :ignore: them when they complained...
Something tells me our world would also be a lot less populated!
And forget the option of donor sperm!!! Bahahahahaha! Can you imagine someone donating sperm and randomly getting pregnancy symptoms when he least expects it?!? OMG!! Soooo funnny!! :haha:

I'm back, grabbed a mexican salad from across the street from my bldg...midtown is still a joke due to the UN General Assembly. I always crave spice 7-10days before af. I have a spice problem, today I bit off more than I could chew...literally. I was starving and put habanero sauce on my mexi salad...lips on fire! :haha:

Sorry to hear about your discomfort, but she'll be out of there soon, and there's no going back in! How awesome would it be for you to deliver the same day as Ali's awesome beta that we all know she's gonna get! I don't think I could stand the excitement. I love the symmetry of it...1 cycle ends as another begins.

Ok I'll stop waxing poetic. How is everyone else? Terri, Angel, twotogo. lucaswood??

Any reason FF says my testing date is 10/13 when af is due anywhere from the 5th to the 9th? Last af was 9/9 and 26 days. That would be a 34dc and 19dpo. Hmmm.

Thanks for the encouragement, it's just frustrating that we didn't bd on O day.
