From everything I have read a closed high cervix means you could get your bfp! They say it is lower and open when AF is approaching but I'm not expert...it always freaked me out to be feeling around my cervix! When will you test again or will you wait for AF to be def late?? When is (was) AF due??

i ov every month on cd 14 i had fertility treatment for my 1st ds but that was 12 years ago since then needed no help,have to go through drs here for fs and not sure they would refer a 42 yr old with 5 kids already lol

What kind of fertility treatment did you go through? I know I used clomid a few years back then got prego withh dd #2...How dh's SA? Try not to worry, could just be a timing issue or maybe hormonal. Still, maybe talk to your doc, it's none of his business how old you are or how many kids you have! :grolwmad: I mean FS's get paid, right?

Hi Alin, I'm sorry this wasn't your month. I also know what it feels like as a woman to feel like you aren't finished having babies yet.... I always knew I wanted one more, and until this relationship, thought it was going to be an unrequited desire....
we weren't getting pregnant and had been diagnosed with unexplained infertility, too. I agree with Coy, that it shouldn't matter if your 42 (I'm 41) and it should actually increase the odds for success that you've had 5 babies already.
Also, it's important to know that sperm can change even from month to month due to stress, diet, medications, and age, so getting another SA done might not be a bad idea.

The first day or two after AF comes is always the most disheartening.... especially when she's late and we've gotten our hopes up so very high! I still remember what that feels like and I send you many good, positive thoughts....

a good hot, bubble bath with chocolate or ice cream, or, in my case, it was gummy candies, and a massive glass of red wine.... sleep well tonight and then regroup.....

hang in there.... if you feel like you are not finished birthing babies, then I encourage you to keep following your heart.... it's not time to give up yet....

Grey Eyes, I looked up fertility friend and started trying to fill in the stats that I have but I don't have the whole cycle filled in. I will try to post it here. How do I do that?? Thank you for the suggestion! I'm sure it will be a big help to me!

AFM, still feverish, sore throat. mild back aches, watery cm, and mild pain on lower left abdomen. Suddenly have a headache...reminds me of the headache I had for weeks after my miscarriage which was due to hormones....so maybe???? Not testing for a couple more days. Question, how do you check your cervix??? I checked but I dont know what constitutes hi, low etc?? Maybe I'll google that one

Okay, I read up on the cervix thing TMI alert!!!! Ok, I checked and it was all the way back and kind of had to bend my finger back (like toward my spine) to get to it. they said it can either feel hard like the tip of your nose or soft like your mouth~this felt like the tip of my nose. Watery CM near cervix.

I shopped for T's birthday today, took a power walk hoping to jug baby down some more, washed 4 loads of laundry (where in heck does it all come from?! ) Cooked dinner, did dishes, cleaned the kitchen, wrapped presents for T and one for Kat cause she's little and doesn't undestand why she doesn't get one Then I finished this weeks assignments in school, then I vacuumed, bathed the girls, washed their hair, made them brush their teeth (somehow I ended up with one side of my t-shirt totally wiped in toothpaste KIDS.) scrubbed the bathroom, tub, and toilet, cleaned the living room, then I baked a three teir double fudge chocolate cake and decorated it. I made it sort of like gift wrap packages...green, pink, and ligth yellow with candies as polka dots and a big green ribbon on top. Now I am drying my last load of laundry and got towles in to wash, and I am thinking of...folding clothes? ... nope don't wanna do that! Maybe blow up a ton of balloons to leave all over the house and floor for T's morning...

Well, I woke up this morning to spotting and I think my temp is starting to go down, so I didn't even test. If AF doesn't come in full force by tomorrow, I may test, but I seriously don't think it happened for me this month. So we will skip a month and wait until November to try again. At what month of pregnancy are you no longer able to travel, does anyone know?
If I would get pregnant in November, I would be testing on our anniversary (December 2) - which would be a great anniversary gift.

Afm, I'm up early as we are driving up to West Point for the Army vs. BC game. I took a hpt and got a bfn CP feels like it's moving down and becoming firm. My bbt spiked this morning from yesterday's 98.20 to 98.94. Would my temp spike like that if af was coming tomorrow? So I think I'm out, I doubt yesterday's drop was implantation. But I don't know how to explain this morning's rise.

Gotta wake dh since we need to leave asap. Have a wonderful day ladies! Any input on my chart is appreciated b/c I'm so confused!!!

Baby - yes, yesterday could very well have been an implantation dip as implantation can take up to 12 dpo. fx'd for you!

We got to Westpoint for a game every year too! Going in a couple weeks, I think. It will be beautiful! Enjoy the foliage!!!

I think you can travel right up to your edd with a dr's note. I know I was supposed to go to Arizona last month and our health insurance gave me AND babes full coverage to 28 weeks gestation. There was a news story here in Canada awhile back about a mum who went into preterm labour while visiting the states and she was covered but the baby wasn't and it cost them an insane amount in hospital bills because the babe was a preemie.

I hope you aren't out yet! Fingers crossed!

Hey Ladies! Just a quick hello from Canada. Its really cold here, like oooohhhh chilly! My body is not used to it! HEHE. I'm glad I'm here though, but I miss my little doggies. I called Matt this morning, and they are being very good and Zach is in love with Matt apparently. He wants to snuggle all the time. So they are all doing well.

My family is good, we got all the outdoor work done yesterday while it was sunny and somewhat warmer. The temp dropped over night and it has been raining on and off all day. I think it is about 46 degrees F or 8 degrees C, this is very cold compared to the 90 degrees it was in FL when I left! I think we'll head into town in a bit, I want some new winter socks (and you can't get nice ones in FL) and maybe we'll go to the Cranberry Bog, they usually have hot apple cider and apple fritters, and all sorts of Cranberry stuff, even cranberry wine! Next weekend is the Bala Cranberry Festival, it is the busiest weekend of the season for the little town here. I think something like 20,000 people descend on the tiny little town. I'll be back in FL by then! WHEW!

TwoToGo- nuts, hope this isn't AF showing up What do you mean skip next month and try again in November? You don't use bc do you? Hope not, most of it is evil Everything I ever tried seemed to mess with my cycles for an extended period after getting off it Could just be my body though.

Babywhisperer- yep, implantation can happen aorund now for sure. Doesn't mean AF won't show but sure doesn't look like she will at this point! Your temps are awesome

AFM- I got to bed around0130 this morning..Kat woke me at 230, 330, 430, 5:00 am, then the dog barked to be let out at 5:30 so then I got hungry and ate something. Dh was up by then...Then I went to bed again at 6 for some shut-eye and Kat woke me aghain at 730 crawling into dh's side of the bed. Then Teagen woke me up! Anyway, I am exhausted today...Grampa showed up early with presents for T and Kat and the baby (when she comes out!) but hisd new wife is very jealous of his time and wouldn't let him stay to visit. She made him stand byu the door and just say "hello" before they left
