Ali your dogs sound like fun. We live next to a main road and dont have a fence that's why I am scared to get a dog. Don't want them to run into the road. I miss pets. When I was in high school I had 2 rabbits, 2 cats, a dog and a monkey. Dh had 2 cats but they died the year before I moved here in the house fire

AWW.. that makes me sad too . You definitely need a fence. I would worry about the dog running out in the street too.

I've posted some videos of Zach and Zoe on FB. One where Zoe is doing her rollover, it is really cute! She won her puppy training class 'trick' by doing it! Back when I took her to petsmart's puppy training class they said to work with your puppy to do a trick for the class, and we'd be judged at the end. Well Zoe did the rollover and won! Some of the other dogs got stage fright and didn't do their tricks, and others just didn't bother. LOL. Well little Zoe did it perfectly! It was 2003 though and I didn't have a camera or video camera back then. Heck I didn't even have a digital camera back then! I do now, and have taken plenty of videos of them. Oohhh.. I do have a video of Zoe when she was a puppy learning to use the stairs, that was hilarious! It is on FB too

I was thirsty all afternoon because I didnt want to drink before opk. Those chia seeds absorb so much water they make me more thirsty! Well I just did an opk and there wasn't even a faint line. The last 2 days the second line was darker but not as dark as the test line. I did have ovulation cramping 2 days ago. Could it be possible that I ov'd soon after ended??

Last night stayed in the 20-30 above range :thumb: I missed my run for a second day in a row though so I'm bummed I mean they plow so the road is clear but as soon as I got into a routine Aeryn changed hers So now I have to figuere her out again....

Well the low here was 12 and the high 18 so I didn't find it warm today. But it is supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow with a high of 26. Hope Aeryn gets into a routine that works for both of you

OK so I just had a dachshund pileup! I'm glad I only have 2! Zoe just pounced on my boob! Then Zach pounced on my belly. It was tag team on mommy! They were excited to hear we were going on an outing tomorrow. Zoe understands a lot of words including party and that she gets to go. Zach isn't as smart but picks up on Zoe being excited and figures it must be good news! dogs!

Well I finally got my crosshairs this morning. I got my positive opk on Monday but didnt ovulate till wednesday. Thats gonna tough to know when to do the iui in March. In December I had the stomach flu at Christmas and wasnt able to temp accurately but im sure the same thing happened last month get the positive opk and ovulate 2 days later. The problem is that my body has only done that the last 2 months. ive been temping for a year and have always ovulated the day of the surge. I will ask my accupuncturist what she thinks i should do about timing the insemination. Hope everyone is keeping warm.

Do you do an actual iui or home-inesmination? I have heard ladies doing the home-insemination route. If that's what you are doing maybe inseminate on 2 separate days? Like the day of your positive opk and then the day after?

The witch GOT me! It's freezing and I had to take 5 ibuprofren or whatever they are for my cramps to subside. I haven't stopped eating. I never got my crosshairs and this stuff is really getting to me.

Ali- I love my dog too!!! yours are too cute... at least we are mom's to our pets.

Coy- Sorry you didn't get your run in. I'm gonna be a house soon from all my eating. I'll be sending you a request soon.

Nevergiveup- Walking helps fibro. I had it years ago and it flares up with stress. I started walking and it helped cure it.

I've been eating like its my last day for the last 2 weeks. I don't know what has gotten into me.

We do home inseminations with frozen donor sperm. We can only afford 1 vial. So that is why timing is so important.

JandK - welcome back, I have a similar thing where I get positives for 1-2 days then it is gone. I usually can feel my ovulation, so that helps. It is too bad you couldn't use 2 vials and double your chances. Perhaps skip months and every other month do 2 vials? I'm not sure where you are getting your donor sperm, but where I was getting it the cost of shipping was almost $200 a month, so you could save that by getting 2 vials at one time (course you would have to use them on the same cycle because you won't have the dry ice to keep it super cold). Anyway, just a thought!

Samsfan - do you think you might have a cyst? That is how I feel when I have a cyst. I get grumpy and feel like AF is going to be here any time, and eat everything in site! In fact I feel that way right now. If I don't have AF by Monday, I'm going to call the FS to get an ultrasound. I don't want to delay my trial cycle as that will delay my real cycle in March.

AFM - I'm beat, and so are my doggies! We went to the 11th annual Dachshund Winterfest in South Beach, this afternoon. Doggies had a blast, I'm amazed at how many dachshunds live in south Florida! There had to be 400 or so dachshunds there! Wild! So I'm watching some hockey and I'm going to bed soon. AF is still not here, not sure where it is? I would hope that I get my period tomorrow, I am starting to feel like it is closing in on me. Only problem is that I'm going to a ladies brunch tomorrow and I'm planning on wearing white capris! If that doesn't bring AF on I don't know what will! Someone suggested I POAS! That would bring AF on!

So I was doing some calculations as to when my baby might be born if we do the FET in late-March, and whether he/she would be born in 2013. I think they will be, as my due date would be Dec 10-20th. I think I have until April 9th to do the FET and still have the baby born in December, and another 2-3 weeks if I end up having twins. Apparently twins have a lower gestational due date? So we need to hit those dates ladies, that is if you want a baby in 2013!

Samsfan sorry that the witch got you. When I feel down my appetite disappears but maybe you are the opposite? The important thing is to eat healthy stuff like lots of fruit and veggies. Yes I used to go for daily walks but now I just do yoga and pilates as it is too cold out. Yes I agree I must exercise daily or I feel awful and tired/depressed for no reason.

Jandk I don't rely too much on opk's. Look at Egg whaite cervial mucus. I find that to be more accurate

Ohh.. interesting! I am hoping for the added benefit of having my child born in 2013 due to tax and insurance benefits. I hadn't thought about the Chinese signs. I'm a rat I think. Never liked that I was a rat. LOL!

Sorry about your OPKs. I'm torn between whether I have a cyst or if AF is preparing to arrive. I've been eating horribly, and I am so bloated. I can't wait to get this water out of me! Once it arrives I'm going back on my GF diet. I miss it so! I would start it tomorrow but I'm going to a Sunday brunch buffet tomorrow with my girlfriends, and I am thinking that I will have some non GF things. Then starting next week, back to being GF.

I think I will have a quick shower (feel like I have dog slobber all over me from the dachshunds at the fest)! Then for me!

Unbelievable that in 2 minutes you will see more dachshunds than you would see in 2 years! It was a fun day but I'm exhausted!

Unfortunately my 2 aren't in the video (that I could see) still, an amazing thing to see!
