Good Morning everyone!

First let me say OMG! Phil! your baby is just crazy beautiful!! My heart is full of smiles for you!! Congratulations on such a fantastic miracle. God has truly blessed you.

AFM...well, I am still working out like crazy, learning to play the piano, taking an on-line teacher certification class, looking for a new job, AND still TTC...

I have been doing OPKs for the last 9 days. I was beginning to think it would be a missed cycle. Yesterday morning it was negative and I thought I would just not be ovulating this month. But last night something told me to test again. So I did and I got a smiley face. I was excited! Then I thought it might be a fluke. So I tested again this morning...just a few minutes ago, and there it was again, my smiley face. So, that means I will be ovulating soon, right???? When???
We will BD for the next few days and hope for the best. Please pray for us.

Don't you just love the smiley! I think it is the best thing ever! I remember when I was TTC with my ex-bf and I saw that and was jumping up and down like a little kid

Get your BDing in now!! If you got it last night and again this morning you will be O'ing probably later today or tomorrow. So lady!

Wow.. piano? I played for 12 years, and miss it. I ought to get back at it.

AFM - having a trial cycle this FEB for my FET, then real FET in March. Aside from the TTC I'm doing a little work on my house. Starting with an overhaul of my family/kitchen. Roman shades on the windows (I'm making myself), a new rug, new throw pillows, and a new coat of paint. There are many more things on my todo list, but that is the first step!

Piano is wonderful! I borrowed a keyboard from my pastor and I am learning to play on my own. I have never played before but there is a series of 40 lessons on YouTube that are pretty good. AND my Pastor gives me a "lesson" on Sunday mornings before church. I love it. It relaxes me if I am stressed about anything...even if I am just playing scales. Sounds silly, huh?

Nope, not at all. It is nice to do something that is repetitive as it allows you to clear your head of other things. I enjoy swimming for this reason. I used to love losing myself in music too. I have room for a baby grand in my living room, in fact it would be awesome to have one. Problem is I don't think I can afford one?

Welcome back Jess! That's awesome that you can use the smilie opk. The last few months I have ovulated as late as day 17 or as early as days 12 so I need to start them on day 7 not to miss the surge and it would be expensive so I use the cheap strips. I just did an opk and control line was barely visible? I have been having mild -like cramps all day. I so hope it is a good egg trying to break free! I got my flu shot on Saturday. Do you think it could be a side effect of that?? I usually get cramping in ovaries but have never had cramps. Maybe the maca is working I just hope dh doesnt work late tonight.

Looks like you ovulated on cycle day 10 to me. And you bd'd on O day! Yay! I have only one day of positive Lh surge too. Fertility friend sometimes doesn't put cross hairs right away cuz they want to be sure!

FF is like that, it won't give you your crosshairs until 3 days after. It needs the few days to make sure your temps are really elevated, etc.

It can take a few months to regulate after BCP. If you are getting a positive OPK, you are doing well. Your body is probably just taking longer than normal to ovulate, as you haven't done so for a while. The first month I was off BCP I freaked out and went to the ER because the pain of ovulation was so fierce I thought I had appendicitis! Just keep doing the deed until two days past the last positive OPK then you will catch the egg.

twiggers yes it is tough! People who are NOT ttcing just see it as fun. Once a family member asked dh if he wanted a baby and he said of course but it is hard work. They responded with "what do you mean work it is fun". When you are dealing with infertility and trying to catch the egg it can be stressful. You are doing the right thing though, bding every other day. That way you can still enjoy eachother without the worry about missing the egg!

afm- Not telling dh that is O day or near O day doesn't work anymore! He has it down pat! Last night he got home and when he saw me in my little black dress he asked if I got a positive opk and I said no. He didn't believe me! we bd'd before dinner and then I fell asleep. By the time he came to bed it was almost 1 am and he wanted to again lol

But we did manage quite an extraordinary evening last night IYKWIM!

I got smiley face Sunday night and yesterday morning on my OPK, did some last night and the OPK was negative this morning. I hope we timed it right.

Jess sounds like you timed that perfectly! Wouldn't hurt to bd again tonight! I love charting bbt for just one thing. The day after I suspected ovulation and my temp has a big spike. Then I know definately that the day before that was O day I think the geletanized maca powder is what is giving dh all this energy. I didn't know about it till you ladies told me about it

DH is also drinking a fertility smoothie I make every morning for both of us. He's not a breakfast person so giving him a plate full of fruits was like feeding a child vegetables. So guess what? I put all the fruits in the protein smoothie! Mango, papaya, banana, strawberries, then I add some soaked chia seeds,pomegranate, maca and camu powders and gluten-free pea protein.

Hi Ali February will be an exciting month for you! Do you have the dates for practice implantation? (not the correct term I know but ykwim). It was you who told me about the maca. Phil and Coy also recommended the tapioca. They are both helping

I don't know when things will be happening for me Stupid AF is playing games and is not arriving when she should be. We have to wait for AF to arrive before we can start the trial cycle. So I swear AF is evil, she comes when she is not wanted and when she is wanted she stays away!

Guessing Coy is busy with 3 DD's, school, and DH. She is trying to add more structure into her elder two DD's lives, which then makes her life less chaotic!
