Aww so sorry Ali. You are right is evil. That's why I think that the is the perfect name. I found that acupuncture helped regulate my cycle after ivf. I would go once a week and within 2 months my cycle was back on track!

Well last time they put me on BCP almost immediately to get us set for the next cycle. This time we aren't doing a full IVF so they just want my period to show and then we will start the trial FET cycle. So it means I just wait and wait and wait. To be fair today is CD 32, and my cycles are usually somewhere between 30-34 so I am not really late yet. I feel her, and last night I thought perhaps today would be the day. So far no luck. I think I would feel worse than I do if she were to show her face today. I am also getting sick, so I'm achy all over and my throat is sore and I have a cough. So that could be masking or delaying AF. Part of me is happy I'm getting sick, it means that maybe my NK cells aren't that strong, and it also means I'm going to be able to work from home the next few days. That will give me a little more free time for getting things done around the house! Less time in front of my windshield makes me very happy! Especially at this time of the year, with all the tourists and snowbirds in South Florida my commute goes from 25-35 mins each way to 45-60 mins each way. So being at home is nice.

Chantal- that is how I always caught my lh surge too--I bought tons of super cheap strips Mine are like 50 strips for $7.00 I think. Cheap.

Twiggers- looks like you had 2 surges, e.g. stubborn egg! Second surge on CD13-14 was a strong surge and your temp will prob rise tomorrow which indicates ov happened "as we speak" lol! Just watch

Jess- sounds like you timed perfect! I'd test opk again like tomorrow to make sure you don't have a double surge (I've had those). If so- grab BF! lol!

AFM- do you all really want to know?? LOL! Ahhhh.....ok, so the issue w/the court got thrown out (yay) and yesterday I went grocery shopping and what did I discover??!

Oh-but great news! Just got word from my academic counselor I am eligible to enroll in my doctorate program in August!!! lol.

I think you'll have to bring your entire family with you to grocery shop. Have DH sit in the car. Either that or call the Sherriff the next time you are shopping to stake out your car! There you go! Didn't you say you had one Sherriff that was nice? Maybe he would do that for you?

AFM- SICK.. Well I'm not puking but I am getting a flu/cold. Not sure which? The past 4 days I thought I had allergies, then the past 2 days I've had body aches. Well this morning I woke up with swollen glands, and a small cough and body aches and just general malaise.

Aw, it sounds like your body is trying to kick this thing- I think you need to see your doc since your glands are being overworked!

Ali on no! The flu got you I thought for sure you NK cells would keep you from getting it. Like you said maybe it's a good sign that they are no longer elevated!

Coy that is terrible that your tire got slashed again. I agree, dh should stay in the truck to guard it while you shop. That is crazy, can't even go food shopping in peace! That is great news that you can do your doctorate in August! Would you be doing it online? That's how I am taking my classes, on-line because I am still not comfortable driving far on the wrong side of the road so I don't go far.

yes it's online- right now that's the only way I can do it. It's so frustrating right now because I need work but can't be away from the dd's for more than half hour to an hour at a time. very stressful trying to fgure that one out! been looking at online work options too...

Good plan, but so annoying that you even have to do that!

I don't think I will go see my Dr yet. My body is trying to kick it and it is doing what it is supposed to do, my glands are swollen because they are producing lots of white blood cells to go kick this cold/flu's butt! So we'll let it run its course. It means I get to stay home, and that means more so it is all good, well except for feeling crappy!

Dh set up a web sever at home so I could have a job designing websites. He helped me with the seafood buffet place website and now the lady is getting more business and wants me to change the layout! I have only basic knowledge of html and css. She doesn't realize how long I worked on the first one! She seems to think re-designing a website is as easy as snapping ones fingers I was fine with posting promotions and new pics but re-designing the whole thing is challenging!I have been studying wordpress because it will make my job alot easier.

twiggers yes it is tough! People who are NOT ttcing just see it as fun. Once a family member asked dh if he wanted a baby and he said of course but it is hard work. They responded with "what do you mean work it is fun". When you are dealing with infertility and trying to catch the egg it can be stressful. You are doing the right thing though, bding every other day. That way you can still enjoy each other without the worry about missing the egg!

Coy you are right about the cheap opk strips! I just got a positive opk and the test line was even DARKER than the control line!! woohoo! Never got that before! Since they are inexpensive I did one around 3:30pm and it looked positive but line didn't look as dark as the line so wasn't sure. Looks like best time for me to test is 6pm.

I'm feeling a little painy (not a real word) in the uterus area. It's either all in my head or some O pains. Just checked CM and back to sticky.

I have a stubborn egg this cycle it seems. Usually after temp dip my bbt shoots up to 98.1 but not this morning. So fertility friend didn't put the crosshairs on my chart
