Welp, here I go...

I am a bit worried ish because she spent like 3/4 of the time on the left side and then just was briefly on the right so my thoughts are something is wrong on the left? (Which I want something actually to be a problem as long as it is a fixable problem lol. I don't wanna have a clean bill of health in this case because then I have no immediate options really...) The whole left side thing throws me off because I get a lot of twingey achey cramp stuff in the right side. Nothing painful, just crampy.

So the person that did the U/S did not say what they were looking at on the left? Well I hope nothing is wrong, if it has to be then yes please be fixable. That's the worst feeling...the unknown. Did they say when they would go over the results with you? So are they scheduling you for any procedures like SONO or HSG?

Good Luck doll and I hope and pray its nothing major! :hugs:

The tech said nothing, I didnt even see the screen. I had heard rumours that at my hospital they don't say anything and know some techs here in Ontario aren't allowed to give any sort of hint of news bad or good...so I dunno. She did make some interesting facial reactions. I haven't gotten a call yet so the doctors might not have gotten the report yet. I'll call at the end of the week if they havent called me.

Oh okay. Here in the states its normally a nurse or nurse practitioner who does the u/s in my RE office. So they told me the results and showed me different things on the monitor as my exam was being completed. I would absolutely call them by end of week if you don't hear from them. Sucks that they cant say anything. Stay positive

I did look into the insurance coverage during open season....but turns out I think I have the best option available to me. Unfortunately, the state I live in does not cover most infertility treatments.....

Think AF is coming today.....this month marks one year of trying......so far got my progesterone level checked (normal), and DH had a sperm analysis (normal).......my provider said next step was hsg test.

Anyone gone through that yet? Not looking forward to it but ready to have some positive news....

Yes @ HSG test. The push dye through your fallopian tubes to ensure they are open. It as a little painful for me, but others have said they were fine. They have you take pain meds b4 procedure. My doctor told me to take OTC 800mg while other women I heard got a prescription. I guess it just depends on the doctor and your pain tolerance.

Also normally when people have the HSG test the doctor will follow it up with the SONO test, which is saline being pushed in your uterus. Not painful at all. This test checks for fibroid, polyps and cyst.

Good Luck with your HSG and take some meds. Nothing to be scared of though. :hugs:

Thanks....left a message for my provider today to see if we can get it scheduled. Just waiting to hear back now.

MrsL4 - Did you get your appointment for the HSG procedure?

Not yet....I called on Monday, left a message. Sent an email through the patient portal internet system Wednesday.....and another phone message today. Frustrating that nobody has returned the call yet (esp since I am in the health care industry too and we try to be timely (<30 min!) with all our call backs.

patience....patience....patience.....

Got an appointment with a proper gyno for early next year so I think that means my tests were all normal. Or I guess there could ha e been something my doctor just didn't wanna deal with herself. Meh. That gives me 2 more cycles to try naturally. Well... The last week of this one and one more after.

Finally got a response last night via email from my providers nurse.....they only do the HSG testing on Tuesdays. They gave me the number to call and schedule, and recommend it usually between day 6-12 (after bleeding and before ovulation).
Not even sure if I can make it for next Tuesday....it would be day 14 for me.

My cycles have been anywhere from 26-34 days. I have been ovulating around day 15-19.

I think I will just do OPK all weekend and Monday am.....if no O by then, will schedule for Tuesday.

What do y'all think?
Don't want to wait another month if I can squeak in....also don't want to mess up an O......who knows, maybe they don't even have availability this Tuesday (I didn't hear back tip after 5p Friday)

I would call and see if it would be a problem if you came in on day 14 and make sure they have an open appointment. Like what would be the pros and cons. It happen so long ago for me I cant remember. But I know we basically counted that month as a lost. b/c we had multiple procedures done (HSG and SONO). I say if you can squeak it in and not mess up anything GO FOR IT!

Had the HSG test yesterday.....I was able to see the screen, and the Doctor performing the test said it looked perfectly normal.....official read should be in a week or so.
As far as the test goes, it is quick, but the cramping was pretty uncomfortable. A lot of people mention it is like AF cramps but I thought it was different....a little worse. They didn't last that long though, and I feel back to normal this morning. Had some spotting immediately after, but that resolved quickly too.

I did get a little upset before the test because the doctor just wanted to talk about my journey thus far.....and every time I talk about our "unexplained infertility" (esp with medical provider), I just get emotionally upset. I hate crying like that but I just can't stop once my eyes water. She was very sweet though, and mentioned I should get a referral to come see her.

So....I guess that will be the next step....still praying for that miracle BFP but trying to stay hopeful if not!

Update.....

Had the HSG test in December (CD10), and had positive OPK CD 12....we BD on CD11 and CD12.

Usually I ovulate CD15-17, and have AF 12-14 days later.....so I was a little thrown off that I ovulated early, especially since I had HSG test this month. By the way, that test was normal too.

Then on Christmas day, I had two-three wipes of light red bleeding/CM.....which was CD 19. I have never had that before, so wasn't sure if it was implantation bleeding? Or just a side effect of my HSG test a few days prior?

Anyways...now I am here at CD32, and took a preg test today with BFN. I keep on thinking my period will start, as I have no abnormal symptoms....but it is just CM.

Just weird....normally period starts CD28-32 depending on ovulation.....and now I am 21dpo (if that ovulation test is right)....and nothing.

Trying to keep hopeful...but this is our 13th cycle :/
