hi,

i thought i was all sorted for blake but may have hit a problem - we dont think he's big enough (height wise) for the toy we had planned to get although he will be slightly older than it says for (says 12months +).

so i am now back at the drawing board SO what are you buying for your 14/15month old boys?

if any help we have got him:

a 4ft teddy bear (dont ask!)
magna doodle
aqua draw
2 wooden puzzles
socks and vests.

hoover , train set , ambalance and police car , pepper pig teddies , wooden blocks , little drum set ( sum things are above his age, morgan will b 17mth ish at xmas ) x

what about a bike or ride on toy kind of thing or sit n spin zebra xx

Harvey is getting this:

He's also getting a toy trumpet, clothes and other bits & bobs. We're not going daft this year as, if last year is anything to go by, he'll get loads of stuff from grandparents and aunties & uncles and we have nowhere to put everything.

i have got jake elc happyland stuff, small musical instrument and crafts. he go a smart trike for his birthday which he loves. i also struggled to think of what to get him, he has so many toys and doen't show much interest in them, so trying not to spend too much

the sit n spin zebra is what wer were getting him but he cant get on it or make it spin/bounce as he too small

he got a sit n ride for his birthday that converts to a walker etc and he has loads of happyland/little people again from his birthday.

You see this is my stumbling block, my other two ive no problem in knowing what to get them, but wiggles will be 17 months at christmas, he got loads for his birthday, smart trike, ride on digger, garage, trainset etc. He hasn't got a special toy that he seems to connect to like my other children did, Id like to get him something special that he would really love but can't think of anything for the life of me. What is your lo's special toy?

like you said he hasnt really got into anything. my oldest is spiderman mad, the middle 1 loves the simpsons (but its not easy finding simpson things for a 5yr old!)

he doesnt sit and watch cartoons but loves it if we put music channel on tv and stands and dances.

what about a coupe car? morgan is almost 15months and she jut got one (my brother will be away over xmas so early present) and although she a shortie shes gettin the hand of it and its her favourite thing at moment
this is the unisex one

got 1 in garden from older 2 boys.

its really hard having 3 boys as we have most things. my neighbour said about a toy rocker then remembered we have 1.

amylw1 my lo is the same just loves to dance to the music channels no interest really in childrens programmes and with him being the 3rd child you tend to have most of the things especially as theres only 11 months between him and my daughter.

at least having a daughter you can buy some different toys. LOL!

my firend bought him the my 1st stereo from argos for his birthday and we got him a musical drum and marracas.

Don't think OH would be happy with lo playing with our daughters dolls lol. Tbh I know he'll not play with most stuff he gets but Id really like to get him something special that's only his that he'll love iykwim

i dont see a problem with boys having dolls, nor does my OH. point in case today - i had gone to town and bought a doll for my nearly 8yr old son to turn into a mummy for school project........ b4 we had chance to mummyfy it blake took it out of the bag and was carrying it round saying baba! so i had to go back to town to buy another doll as he cried when i took it off him.

that's so sweeet bless him. How about playskool clipo blocks, theyre what we used to call stickle bricks, but a younger version, kids at nursery love them.

we seem to have solved the problem - he has a little people dinosaur set that he loves, ELC have a happyland set with cave, dinosaur, old car and cavemen and wilkinsons have 3 plastic dinos at £1.65 each so we are getting them.

plus we are toying with idea of ball pit and balls!

jesse got a ball pit for his birthday and i swear it was the best buy (and one of the cheapest!) he spends hours in there he absolutly loves it! id recomend them to anyone!

for christmas jesse is getting off us, a toddler bed, smart trike, laugh and learn grandpiano, baby guitar, im stuck there though,

he got so much for his birthday ballpit, ride on , walker, garage, laughn learn chair, hoover, waybuloo sofa, shapesorter, clipo, megabloks, toystory chatter phone i cant een remember but loads more than that and we hae no where to put it!

my mums getting him the laugh and learn kitchen as one of his presents x

my eldest had a ball pit but as i now have 3 kids i have loads of toys and not much room so not sure on it.

I'm not 100% sure what I'm gonna get ike. At chtistmas he'll be 3 days off 14 months. I have a big list of whAt i'm actually gonna get him though. I've been thinking more about his birthday than Xmas.
