What are you getting your 8 y.o girls?

My girl will be 8 in October and so far, has asked for nothing for her birthday or Christmas! When I take her into a toy shop she gets overwhelmed and ends up picking nothing or crying.

She's very arty and loves drawing but has tons of colours, books etc.She's getting a bike for her birthday, and clothes but am stuck for Christmas ideas.

DD1 is 7 in October, and she's exactly the same. Asked what she would like for her birthday and we get the response "oh, I don't know. Just random stuff". She isn't really into toys as such anymore.

Last year, we got her a Crayola light up drawboard, granted she hasn't bothered with it much, but we've all had a bash on it. Can use it to trace anything so you probably would get get use!

The works have a lot of 2 for £10 creative gifts and experimental things which she may like?
