I forgot to ask how often you guys BD around ovulation? We normally only do once or twice?
Hi Wishx, a couple of things:
1. Once or twice is NOT enough. You need to have BMS 4 times around your ovulation time window. I learnt this on https://human-fertility.com/simple-fertility-tips-to-get-pregnant-fast (they have a great youtube channel) and it worked for us! Fair enough, 4 times in 36 hours may sound a lot, but you want to have plenty of sperm "on site" at the right place & at the right time. Apparently, one of the authors of that site is a former donor and has fathered multiple children for infertile couples, so he must know
2. Your DH needs to take a sperm boosting male fertility supplement. They are very effective in improving sperm quality. I took fertilsan M, but aminoexpert Fertil M PRO is also good. Do your own research and buy what you can afford.
3. We are doing lots to spice things up. Personally, I am a big fan of lingerie, stockings, short skirts, high heels of all sorts.. just ask him what he likes and surprise him. Maybe take him lingerie shopping for Christmas, it's one present off his mind and a win-win for you. Maybe he is even up for getting some for himself?!
- Do some good foreplay, drop some hints early, tell him during the day what you are going to do to him later on.. it's nice to look forward to the evening.
- Watch some porn. Nothing wrong with that. Don't be shy. You can both choose your favourite video.
- Buy a basic bondage kit on amazon. Why not wear a mask or a wig? Gives the illusion of another person, which is kind of fun.
- You both should shave nice and clean beforehand.
- Make love in front of a mirror.
- Choose some sexy music, personally I am into deep house (search on youtube for sexy deep house).
- For the act itself you could of course also just get naked, jump into bed and start touching.. if he's got libido you'll get going in no time.
On that point, as for his libido, do (1) ask him not to watch porn without you - its much better to save his sexual energy (& his swimmers!) for the real thing, (2) Less alcohol and nictoine, more (lots of) water and clean foods, (3) I take an extra natural Arginine and pine bark potency supplement for more libido and hardness. Stay away from viagra and the likes, (4) get him to do weights to build muscle and confidence. Push-ups, pull-ups, squats & deadlifts will push his Testosterone up. A great programme I used to be on is called stronglifts 5x5.. incredibly effective, but not everyone's thing. He might need some PT sessions to learn correct technique.
