what came first with others contractions or waters?

Waters first for me and then contractions started a couple of hours later.

ooo what a mix up thanks for all your answers ladies
my main reason for asking was that when i whent to see mw the other week she said it was more likely i would contract before my waters whent
i thought well does she know something i dont lol :-/ seems more often than not contractions have come with us all first x

With me, my waters broke, then contractions started an hour later x

I've had it happen both ways. Contractions with 3 of my kids (then the water broke naturally with 2 of them and the 3rd was broken by dr) and then my 4th pregnancy my water broke at home then contractions started...but was contracting for a whole week out then the water broke out of the blue one day.
