...DH's Nonna???? She's in her late 70's and a widow however her eldest son still lives at home with her.
She's not into make up, perfume or lotions or anything like that.
We got them a DVD player a few years ago and now all we get for them is DVD's!!! We'd like to get her something different.
Her flat is full of trinkets and what not so thats not really an option.
She doesn't read and only buys clothes and jewellery when she visits her home country which is Italy.

So far we have got her a fan (like a hand held lacy frilly job) which we got in Majorca on holiday - i know she'll love that and we want to get her a box for it so it looks extra nice but we just need a few ideas as thats not really a proper present.

Any clues???? Would be very greatful :hugs:

I'd get her a lovely warm hat, scarf & glove set. I don't think you can go wrong with something like that :)

We always get my great nanna (aged 91 bless her) A hamper she loves all the nice biccies and jams etc, perfect for when she has visitors.

Tickets for a local show or something she might like...maybe the theatre (not sure how mobile she is)

What about a jewelry box for all of her jewelry?

Does she keep photos? They have these photobox things out we bought for my boyfriend's mum, they're wooden and store pictures and display them.

Does she drink wine? :)
