Hi,

I used a handmade woven and stretch wrap for my son who is now 4 years old. I found the woven excellent when he was a little baby but soon out grew it. The woven wrap I found difficult to use and it hurt my shoulders by digging into them. Please can you recommend to me some carriers/slings that will be supportive for my shoulders and back? Not sure what to get and they all seem expensive!

I bought the Ergo for my two month old son, and I love it. It is pretty pricey, at around $130, but it's very supportive and your back/shoulders won't hurt wearing it. It distributes your child's weight very well. There are also 4 positions it can be worn in, and it can be used until your baby is 3 years old. Keep in mind if you want to use it for a newborn-4 month old, you'll have to purchase the additional infant insert for added neck support for around $25. I thought that was a racket at first, but now that I have it and LOVE it, I feel it was a worthwhile purchase.
