What colour are her eyes?

I think Sophie has a similar colour to your baby in the pic, and I'd say hers were "turning hazel". To me hazel is light brown and green. I could be wrong and they could just be going brown as I see no green yet.

To my eyes, my LO has eyes somewhere in the middle, not enough green to be green and less brown to make them hazel...watch this space I guess!

They're actually very similar to my eye colour, and I've had the problem of defining them all my life!

Mine are more yellow in the middle, and more blue towards the edge. My birth certificate says blue, my passport says green. I would tend to say green.

I would call the green eyes on wikipedia hazel, I think proper green eyes don't have brown bits. My MIL calls her hazel eyes green.

I agree, those pics are both hazel eyes! True green eyes don't have any brown in the middle.

I wouldn't say they were hazel. I have hazel eyes and they are more green/brown whereas I'd say your LO has green/grey eyes. They are certainly beautiful and unusual x

Yes unusual in a good way. I don't remember seeing that colour in a lot of people. It's beautiful. I hope her eyes stay that colour x
