I have been gone for a while.... I am back...

So this is "how goes the battle for me..."

Miscarriage Jan 31st 14 weeks
negative HPT was achieved

Regular period March 10th
11 DPO + HPT
15 DPO spotting
17 DPO - HPT (very very faint)
19 DPO Blood test hcg was 4 and started period.
My doctor actually had nerve to tell me this was left over from miscarriage in January. It is now April 13??? really?? I watched the rise and fall of hcg on hpt. They dont care about this.
I was determined I had a chemical pregnancy until this month....

Regular period again April 10
11DPO + HPT very faint not trusting
12DPO same
13DPO today and still the same dollar store HPT still showing faint line even at night and first response has faint line not darker or lighter than last months or yesterdays.

So here i stand... yes i got the nerve to call my doctor who thinks i am nuts and going for another blood test tomorrow my lines are so light I may not have any hcg left in blood and i will look like a fool. i dont care I will go anyway.

I can not find any info on this in the internet... the only explanation i can understand is possibly chemical pregnancies but how is this possible 2 motnhs in a row after a miscarriage. My husband and i have no troubles concieving so this could be possible. how can i have that much bad luck??

What else can be going on???

I know I am not pregnant or not anymore anyway I do not need
hope :( .......I just need to know what is going on.... sorry so long

:hugs: I don't know??? maybe a progesterone deficiency ???????? Have you had your levels checked??? There are so many things it could be. I would look for a different doctor who wouldn't think i was crazy but who would try to find a solution for me. kwim? So sorry your going through this, it has to be hard. We are here.

yeah hun i would agree i think maybe a different doctor may be in order!!! chemical pregnancy would be an explanation but its not the only one so dont worry yet it could be something like low progesterone. sorry not much advice hun hope everything works out for you xxxxxxx

I would say chemical, but you should have your hormones checked because something is causing this over and over... I'm very sorry for what you are going through. I hope you get some answers soon.

Thanks as for the doc change... does not happen in Canada... i have a family general doctor here which some people do not i am lucky. We dont have choices in our docs though... my doc take on my children and that is it... she will not even take my husband... who has his own doctor bc of his parents taking him there since he was a baby. weird system huh?

Anyway she is a family doctor and does everything general liek beginnign pregnancy and colds flu non emerg stuff. then she will refer you to another doctor who "specializes" in different doctor jobs... : )
She has referd me to a OB gyn specialist and i have an appt end of may. Although i know his opimion is to just keep on trying since I have 2 healthy children already. but I have an appt and that is a start.

Thanks for opinions though girls!!!
i will google the low progesterone asap!!

Ok update!!

My bloodwork today shows hcg 44.... I have negative tests now too. i wish I had of got blood work a couple days ago when levels were higher.

I am soooo confused,.

What are you confused about hun??? I think it is good that they are going down on their own so you wont have to have anything done. Do you go back for more bloodwork????

i will go back next week for bloodwork. I will probably start period before then though.

I am confused bc I want to know why this is happening 2 months in a row... and i never thought I would have a number of 44... i thought it would be MAYBE 7.. now i wishful dream again that maybe, just maybe it will be ok!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. I've had a chemical pregnancy and it is tough.

I'll tell you what my doctor told me. The only good thing about a chemical pregnancy is that it shows the doctors that the sperm is meeting the egg. There is just a problem with implantation. She suggested taking baby aspirin to help with implantation. Check with your doctor first though, but this is commonly recommended here in the states when TTC. She also mentioned progesterone supplements if I continued to have a problem. I have not conceived since my chemical a few months ago though.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm hoping the new doctor/specialist will be more open to talking to you about what could be going on.
