What day did I surge? Check my pics

So I can't figure out which one of these is more positive. It said when the test line is the same color or darker than the reference line that means positive. I'm confused though... Because the second day it looked much darker Than the first day but the first day is positive too?? I don't know what it all means. Can someone explain? These are the tests used to detect my lh surge from first response brand. I'm tried to attach my picture of the tests. Help please !?!??

Ooooh I was looking at it all wrong, as if the faded line was the test line!! yes, day 2!!

Day two seems the most positive as it's sucked the dye from the control line! I would take that as the highest point of your surge xxx

Thank you so much ladies!!! Extremely helpful!!! One last question than. Does the 12-48 hour mark for ovulation begin at the peak of the surge? Or is it when it first barely starts?

Once there is enough LH to cause a positive OPK you should ovulate 12-48 hours after that. good luck!.
