Hi. On my way to Morrisons tonight I popped in to Mothercare to pick up a long sleeved shirt for my son - I left with a bouncy castle and no shirt! Anyone as easily distracted as me?

I went to Asda to get photos printed. The machines were off so I bought a bew swimmig costume, tshirt and jumper all for dd. Plus LOAAADS of munchies for me!!

I went to pick my my OH's glasses from Specsavers and ended up with some baby Vans and a bouncy rabbit thing from ELC

Lol, it's good to know I'm not alone. I'd love to say it was a one off but it's not. Was planning on getting ds a slide a couple of weeks ago, that turned into a playhouse with slide and fireman's pole, I blame my mum for that one though.

My 5 year old wants something everywhere we go. It's crazy.

I went to a local value shop to pick up some small storage boxes. I came back with buckets, spades, fishing nets, a set of mini trays for our Montessori shelves and a selection of sanding blocks to make touch tablets. However, I did go into Tesco afterwards looking for baby toys and came out empty-handed, so I figure it all evened out.

A duck bath mat from asda for when dd has a bath to stop her sliding around! Loool only popped in with my mum!

bleach, toilet cleaner, cleaning sponges, air freshners.. only went in tesco for butter & milk.. stupid tesco putting things on offer!!

i went in the other day for a water pistol (aswell as my weekly shop) and got a sand/water table, sand, golf clubs, 5 water pistols & a bat & ball set. :dohh: xx

I went out today to buy a new lock for the kitchen cupboard. I came back with a 1 tog sleeping bag, 3 t-shirts, 2 summer hats, Mickey Mouse cuddly toy, toy tea set, bucket with sand play toys all for LO. I seem to do this quite often!

We popped into Tesco Home to go to the cafe for lunch yesterday. Came out with 2 new small Octonauts toys and loads of cleaning stuff cos it was all on offer. It's impossible to go in there and not buy anything!

I was pretty good yesterday, went to pick up OHs phone and took girls to McDonald's, then went to asda and ended up buyin some tool things for their sand table. Relatively inexpensive day.

Oh yesterday was a good one for me. I went out looking for some cheap vinyl flooring and came home with a bloody bike for jack

About three times in the last month I've gone out with the intention of stocking up on next size clothes for DS.. And every time I've come home with nothing for DS and about 5 bags worth for DD (as if she needs anymore!). I find it so much easier to shop for girls x

Lol lots, this is all great. I decided not to stop at the shops on my way home tonight!

Most days I manage to spend without even setting foot outside, I only go online to have a little browse, its lethal! Kids clothes are my downfall, I cant resist!

I don't do this but EVERY single time DH and DS1 are in the shops together they come back with at least one toy or book. Today they went to pick up a few bits and came back with goal posts. Yesterday it was a small toy car, the time before that it was a set of construction vehicles, before that a paddling pool...the list goes on.

The worst one was when he came back with a tent. You might be thinking a play tent isn't so bad but it was a real camping tent which DH proceeded to put up in the living room and it was before we moved and the old house was tiny! :dohh:

A t-shirt for Thomas, a backpack for Thomas and a £200 tandem pushchair :dohh: I'm not pregnant, OH wanted an off road pram and the extra seat comes off :haha:

I specifically went to lidl because they don't sell dvds, toys, clothes etc.. to buy fruit, milk and salad stuff - came home with storage drawers, griddle pan, loads of half price night cream and eye serum  would've been as well going to Tesco!

I always thought 'how rediculous' when people would say how much it costs to raise a child from birth to 18. These days I can see how easily it mounts up. So pleased I don't do credit cards!!!
