Could you all help me and share your ideas...im looking for my little man and i am clueless!!...toys from 18months onwards please...Thanks! x

Hey there! There are many wonderful toys you can buy for a toddler that are fun but also enhance development! Anything that he can create with... finger paints, chalk, crayons, markers, play dough, for instance! Also shape sorters, puzzles, and books are great at this age. Building blocks & the large (toddler-sized) legos are also great! Plus this is the age where creative play starts to develop... so things like a toy shopping cart, play food, kitchen set, toy lawn mower, pretend doctor set, dress up clothes, etc would be great! Toys for the bath-tub bc water play is a lot of fun... a water table or sand table maybe? Stacking toys & nesting toys are also good. Those are just some ideas that come to mind! Hope that helps! My son loves playing with balls... and climbing thru his little tunnel...! For my son's 2nd birthday i got him a sliding board, swing set, and some ride-on "bikes" (the ones that they move with their feet)! I'm sure as you know... boys love to be active! So toys for large motor development are good choices!

We're 6 months younger but I'm going to raid elc for their painting and creative stuff to put away till LO is a bit older. going to get an aquadraw aswell. what about something like the toy garages from ELC?

Whats your son 'into'?
If you look in the argos catalogue theres loads in there for 18 months + (even for just ideas then work from that or maybe surf until the find the same item cheaper) but its all different toys and games depending on childs interests and what he finds fun x

Alexa will be 19 months come Christmas, and I have bought her book, books, and more books! She has too many toys, so I have resorted to buying her books, which can be enjoyed for years to come, and then saved for her children!

Another idea, is an Aquadoodle, which I am getting for my 2 year old neice.

Do you have Little People down where you are? Because those are very good for this age, for boys and/or girls!
A puzzle, kitchen set, a tricycle (and a helmet of course), colouring books, legos/building blocks, a wagon-those are ideas I can come up with off the top of my head, but I really reccommend books! Good luck!

ELC's Happyland! It is so fab, I am dying to open all of Daisy's and play with it now!

Then if anyone else asks you what to buy for him, just ask them to buy a set of people, or small shop or something :D
