We only use swimming nappies & trunks when we take Omar swimming. He usually swims in the evening (we have a pool in the building) but if there is sun, we always use a hat, full swimming suit to cover his arms & shoulders & sun cream for babies xx
We took lo's swimming cossie, a towel, little swimmers nappy, her Zoggs swimming seat thingie and a normal nappy and wipes for when she got changed at the end. I got lo's swimming seat for about £15 from Argos x
If you're going along wearing your cossie underneath your clothes, then don't forget to take your underwear too!! I've been caught out a couple of times!! x
I take a full nappy bag + swiming costumes, swim nappies, armbands /inflatable seat, towels ( always a spare towel ) and some baby lotion to put on them till they can get home and have a proper bath
I use one of those swim seats too, it's brilliant, I think probably more so for getting my own confidence with holding LO in the water
It depends on your pool and what they have in the changing room, and how you get there [car/pram/sling etc] but if it's a small pool without special baby facilities then a Bumbo would be really useful if you have one.
I use a baby wetsuit over his swim nappy as well, it keeps him really warm...I think they're recommended for babies under 12 weeks but I still use them as he's nice and toasty under it when we get out Have fun!
