What do you do for a living?

I'm a SAHM, I have a degree in MIS & a master degree in international business, I'm also a certified property manager. I recently got my certificate in health coaching, I manage a FB page on healthy eating & I offer free health & wellness consultations.

I work in a supermarket. I actually cannot express how much I hate it. I can't get anymore than 17 hours there and I just hate it sooo much.

My absolute dream in life is to be a midwife. I've applied unsuccessfully twice. But since I split up with my childrens dad I can't really apply again until they're older :(

I'd also love to be a makeup artist for media/tv etc, but I don't even know where to start.

So miserable where I am though.

I'm a SAHM at the mo and used to be a nanny so not a huge change for me! :haha:

My OH has his own consultancy business and I deal with the accounts for him, I also do some proof reading as he gets published in business magazines quite often and produces research papers.

I'd like to train as a breast feeding counsellor when I've finished having babies (Ttc no.3 next year!). OH's work requires regular, often last minute, travel so I really need to take the lead on childcare. My parents are local and would help out when necessary but a job with just a few hours a week would be great. I'm passionate (but not pushy!) about breast feeding and would love to be able to help people.

Also OH is planning to branch out a bit with the business and would love me to do more, so I may do a course or two to learn about creating presentations and bookkeeping so I feel a bit more confident and can be more useful.

Oh and I'd love to foster when mine are a little older!

I've been a SAHM since I was pregnant with my 1st and we're lucky enough that I don't have to go out and work, don't think I'll ever go back

I did my degree in Social Work but then decided not to use it and started working in accounts in London :)

I'm currently working as a bank nurse, which is great as I love being able to pick and choose when I work. And I'm waiting for my registration to come through as a midwife, then I will be starting as a bank midwife, too.

I'm enjoying being back in nursing, and I love midwifery, but in both careers, the hours are terrible. Even picking and choosing my shifts, they are still not normal hours. I would love a job with normal hours, where I actually knew what I would be working in advance. If I stay in the health sector, I think I would like a specialist role. I am considering doing a PGCE, though, either as a primary school teacher or a secondary school biology teacher (not sure if a nursing and a midwifery degree would be ok though).
