Precious would be very different. I think I like it better than Faith though. I was working on Saturday and I work in a grocery store and there was a young girl in there named Miracle, I thought that was different but cute. It would just take people a while to get used to.
I think that no matter what you name your kid there's always a chance your kid is gonna catch flack for it. I've gotten crap my whole life about my name and it's not even that different! Usually they just screw up the spelling (b/c it's Leeann instead of like Leanne) but I actually had a girl in HS ask if it was actually my name, like I made it up or was lying or something lol I won't forget that, it was bizarre.
Even though the current names I'm stuck on are Wyatt & Madaleine I'm actually for more different, non common names. I'd prefer if my kid had a name that a bunch of kids didn't have. Growing up I never knew another Leeann until HS and then in my HS there were only THREE of us. So when the teacher called my name in class or when someone said my name I KNEW they were talking to ME! It was nice and I personally want the same thing for my kid. So even though my name isn't REALLY different or nontraditional it is a little different so I can from that perspective it's not that bad having a different name!
