What do you make of this?

I'm really confused. I did a test just now so obviously not FMU. I'm 7dpo (or possibly 8dpo as I didn't take my temp last Saturday as I wasn't well) and I usually have a 13 day LP, although the last 2 have been 12 and 11. It's a clearblue test and I know these are famous for false positives, or giving you evaps that make you think it's positive. Well this came up within a couple of minutes of testing but I only got half a positive line. Do you think this is a faulty test? I refuse to get excited as I don't trust these tests but the half line is definitely there. It's quite dark which you probably can't pick up in my pic.

babes i would defo test again using a red dye test them things are terrible for faulse pos and hurt so many people, first response is the best test or superdrug own, i got bfp on superdrug at 9dpo defo recommend them and much cheaper too, hoping it ur bfp it still real early and that a strong half a line u got there any chance u oved alot earlier than thought? xxx

Well I've been charting my temps and it said I ov'd last Sunday, although I didn't do my temp on the Saturday because I wasn't well so was sure my temp would be extra high. So I'm either 7 or 8dpo. And my CB digi ovulation test matched with my IC OPK so I'm pretty sure it's right.

I know these tests are bad for false positives. I had one before but I had opened that test and I know that can give false positives, whereas this one I haven't opened up. I'm not getting excited because I'm convinced it's probably too early for me to test (and get a line that dark) and it is only half a line. Will update with any good news if I have any. I have another clearblue one (and have bought on Ebay an FRER which I'll use when it comes) which I'll use tomorrow but I'm really not getting my hopes up.

I googled false positives on these tests and this girl said that she got 6 false BFPs so got her OH to do one and he got pregnant as well! Considering they are supposed to be over 99% accurate, it's a bit ridiculous how many false positives they give!

thats terrible for false positives i too would test again in the morning using something like a superdrug one, really hope its a bfp for you x x

I can definitely see the line hon. Take it back hon, someone else did and they got a replacement. It's difficult to say if pos or not so try another one if you have it

i would say complain to clear blue and they will send you a replacment im sure this happend to dan o

i would wait a few more days and use a FRER

its an odd one that!! i'd give it a go on a diff brand or get them to replace the one you've used! good luck xx

I got half a line back last year, here's the pics..
When I got my BFP in jan, the line wasn't much different tho.
Clearblue are toooooo confusing, good luck with your FRER, hope this is your time at last hun xxx
