My ds started school last week part time, this week he will stay there for lunch. He will be having packed lunch, just looking for some ideas asbive never reall done this before and want to make sure e has enough food!

So what do you put in your child's packed lunch?

Please do not turn this into a debate about junk food I'm purely just looking for ideas

Generally my kids will have

Sandwich with ham/cheese and Fridays it chocolate spread
Banana
Small pack of Raisins
Crisps (wotsits or quavers)
Mini roll
and juice

My 2 year old has a smaller version of this :D

If we have pasta or something like that the night before I put a small put of it in.
Crisps
Cheese string
Yogurt
Flapjack/fruit

Btw she hardly eats it, will comr home with food left other which she has a snack lol, but playschool give her milk and fruit for snack and she dont normally eat much tbh

My daughter has something from the following....shes a fuss pot so its same old same old:

Usually DD1 has 1 of the following
*Sandwhich with ham/egg/tuna salad

*Couscous salad.

She then has a few of the following each day

Next year when DD2 goes to school I will add cheese sticks or cubes too but DD1 doesn't like them. I'm also going to buy to thermos pots ready for winter so that they can have warm noodles and baby on occasion a soup. :)
