I dont know what to say, i cant believe your hubby is acting like this! For a start, no way are you waiting til birth to discuss- you will have emotions running high and i bet he is hoping he can sway you in the moment, which you will most likely regret!
He is acting very childish, it takes 2 to make a baby and a compromise on BOTH parts to name. I told DH from the get go there would be no dead grannies/ family honouring names as for me personally I want my child to have their own identity.
How about Rupert (german version of Robert) or Ted/Teddy for Edward? Stand your ground, dont be bullied into a name xx
