contractions eased off completely by 8am, gutted! awake throughout the night for nothing....had the odd contraction today but so irregular, feeling really fed up hope things pick up again tonight or my waters break or something to give me hope!

Ohhhhh just logged in to see how you were goign as nowt happened for me after my sweep in friday just uncomfortable all day and nothing sat or today either. You must be knackered!!! Well i'm sick of bouncing on ball and keeping active had a nig show this morning so thought wahooo something might happen been a walk but nothing.

How you felt today? Any twinges?

Aw sorry your sweep hasn't produced much either, it's a bit of a let down isn't it.
I've had some braxton hicks today like what I was experiencing last night.
I've actually just got back from hospital as I am sick of losing copius amounts of liquidy blood stained mucus and not knowing if it is normal or some waters etc so got checked out and monitored, braxon hicks were showing on monitor, I was 3cm dilated, midwife doesn't think waters have gone yet but she said she expects to see me back in tonight! However after last night I am NOT getting my hopes up

Ohhhh thats definately positive progress though, yes it is frustrating and i almost wish i hadn't had the sweep done coz i was really down the following day but i feel positive again and just know its typical with me being a control freak to have both my babies being late..son was 10 days late so it shouldn't really be a surprise.

Thing is i bet they've told you to keep active and i'm sure you must feel knackered....hope you get going soon and if not sleep!!!!!!

ergghh so been having painful contractions through the night again but they are not getting much closer than 4/5 mins apart I'm so frustrated......yhe keep active my A! lol I am tired and fed up and want baby out now. In the last hour ive had 10 contractions, averaging about 6 mins apart. I've sent hubby off to work but I just don't know what to do with myself. I hope they carry on and get worse

I would be inclined to call the hospital and see of you can go in and get checked out!!!

yeh might call them in a bit see what they say and if they can give any advice, just feel like after going in yesterday, I might be wasting their time. The pains will probably stop and leave me feeling foolish again

They won't mind chick, thats what they are there for!! My husband keeps saying every night, do you think I will be at work in the morning, I think the anticipation is getting to him!! We are posted in 5 weeks so he is desperately trying to sort his stuff out at work ready to hand over!!
