What do you think of this opk?

Hi everyone

I am ttc number 2. My cycles have been a bit irregular since giving birth 11 months ago and I have had a history of long cycles but my last three cycles have been 31, 36 and 31 days. (I moved house on the 36 day cycle so I think that may have delayed my ovulation as I was due to ovulate on the day we moved!) so that means I should have ovulated around cd17-23 on the long cycle.

I have never ever had a positive opk, but I have been pregnant twice so it must be happening, I'm either missing it or opk's don't work for me.

It's cd 19 for me today and I realise this isn't as dark as the control but tus is the first time I have ever seen anything other than a faint line on an opk. Could this be the beginning of my surge? Or did i miss it and this is the fade out?? Obviously I will keep testing now, I will do it 3 times a day now I have seen that just incase I am missing it. I currently test twice a day.

Or is this as positive as it gets for some ladies? I might buy some digitals tomorrow. I have been bd'ing every other day since cd14, hopefully I can have a break soon lol. I would like to know when I ovulate so that I can test on Christmas Day, that would be nice, but if I havnt ovulated yet that might be too soon.

I hope so! I don't want another 36 day cycle, the POAS just gets ridiculous!

Every opk I have done since has got lighter and now it's barely there again. I think I missed it. I have cramp this evening. I will keep doing tests though cus all I can think is my body geared up to ovulate but maybe didnt!? So confusing. Is there anyone else out there that as this much trouble trying to catch a positive opk??

Mine have got lighter since obe almost positive on Saturday. I'm not due to ovulate untill Thursday ish so I think my body is gearing up for it and will keep testing x we dtd sat just to be safe x I think maybe your in a similar situation x

Thanks baby09, your right it might be trying to O and hasn't quite yet. I had a 36 day cycle so that means I probably o'd around cd23 that cycle. It's cd21 today so it might not have happened yet. But I was just really hoping it would be earlier, I hate long cycles!! If I just o'd on cd14 like a normal person I would be 7dpo by now. And long cycles also mean longer to wait till we can try if we aren't successful this cycle.

That must be frustrating x but at least it's close 😊 x I think I ovulated yesterday as had pink ewcm last night and this morning with an almost positive ovulation test last night x fingers crossed for you and me 😁

This cycle gets stranger and stranger!! I have had brown spotting this morning only when I wipe and cramps. If this turns into AF then it's at least 9 days early!?? What the hell!! I have never ever had an early period

Is that a real thing? Lol I have never had that, but I have read that some women have mid cycle bleeding for implantation and ovulation. When would you get implantation bleeding in your cycle if that's what it was? If I did ovulate on cd19 when I got the almost positive opk I would be 3dpo. It is so strange cus I only had it when I wiped once this morning and it was a whole tissue full but then absolutely none since! Tmi sorry

I think between 6-12 dpo but most common on 9dpo. So I'm not sure what to think now? Late ovulation? Xx

Unless I ovulated early this month?? I only started doing opk's from cd16 as I usually ovulate later than that as my cycles are between 31-36 days.

I have had no spotting since. What if I ovulated on cd15 and I'm now 7dpo and it's implantation bleeding, clutching at straws there really lol but only time will tell I spose!

AF today!! Full blown with painful cramps too! What the hell!? A 23 day cycle!? Shortest cycle in the history of periods ever!! Especially since I recently had a 36 day cycle. No idea what is going on. I must have ovulated though if I not have my period right? But just really early??

Yeah you would have ovulated on cd9/cd10 which can be normal after a uber long cycle! If you can get them cheap enough I'd personally opk from cd5 onwards xxxx

i think ur cycle trying to become more regular fx for a 28 day cycle next month possibly start with opks as soon as you stop bleeding i have done that before when mine where all over the place fx x

Oh really? I never thought I could ovulate that early cus it's always been after cd17! Damn it I didn't even start bd'ing every other day till cd 12 so no wonder I missed it!!

I will buy those cheap ones in bulk now ready for next cycle!

Thanks, yeah I hope it is sorting itself out. Although this evening I am a bit more confused as this morning it was bright red flow and this evening just brown again. I am really crampy though. We shall see what tomorrow brings!

Still no AF, I just had spotting for 2 days and nothing since! I feel rough though!
