If baby#4 turns out to be a girl I really, really love the name Elsa but we use nns every day for our other children and I would want this one to be the same. I know Elsa is traditionally short for Elizabeth but OH is not keen so.....

can anyone think of any other names we could shorten to Elsa? I can't at all!!

(middle name most likely Jasmine)

Elissa
Eliana - Eli -are-Na
Eloise
Eleanor
Elise
Elana

Or a double barrel name?? So the first to letters of each name spell Elsa ?!
Example:

Ellie-Sarah
Ella-Sadie
Elsie-saleena
Elisha- saraya

I know none of them flow just an idea lol xx

Not sure if you're ok with "made up" names, but -ana can be added to so many names to make a longer version.

For example:

Elsiana (Elsie-on-uh)
Eleasiana/Eleesiana/Elisiana (el-lease-E-on-uh)

I like the suggestion of Elyssa/Elissa (nn. Elsa)

I would imagine due to Frozen the name "Elsa" is going to become extremely popular, so it's prob a good idea to have a longer version she can also use.

Just go for Elsa-Anna! :)

p.s Do you wanna build a snowman?
