What food do you buy at xmas that you dont have all year round?!

    I have absolutely no idea why, but I always but cheesy footballs!! I eat a few then they go in the bin but I always buy them!

    Then theres the obvious, like xmas puds, mince pies..........

    What do you have that is "traditional" - but only in your house!

    oh and glass bottles of coke, I refuse to pay the rpice at any other time of year!!

    Mince pies and tins of Quality Street, Oh and sprouts, cant have Xmas dinner without them.

    Ritz crackers, not sure why only at xmas? whipped cream, sprouts, trifle, ooooooh I cant wait!

    i always buy enough ambrosia custard to sink a ship too......... not a clue why!

    Schloer! When I lived with my parents we always joked that you knew it was Christmas because Mum bought Schloer :rofl: Thing is, seems to be the same for my hubby and I :lol:

    LOL I buy shloer too! Dont even like the stuff!

    I used to be obsessed with having to have a vienetta for xmas too but i got over that one!

    I have to have marmite in for xmas. I think its expensive but i get so excited about buying it for the xmas treat :lol:
    Also....we have to have nuts in. :)

    sausage meat! i always buy loads of it in the run up to christmas, and spend most of December making sausage rolls, and james always like me to make him a 'proper' sausage muffin :dohh:

    Pickled onions here as well, a jar of each
    Sausagemeat for a family recipe, that only appears at christmas
    random Cheeses and cheese biscuits
    Party food platter ( just in case :rofl:)
