Hi all,

I have just done an Asda pregnancy test but no control line showed up and it is though the test side of the result box was flooded with dye! The reason I tested is because I am on the pill and I missed my last bleed and I have never missed a bleed before. Is it usual for this to happen when a test is faulty? I made sure I kept it flat and didn't use excessive amounts of pee  I have included a picture of the flood!

Hi hun, did you get enough pee on it?

If you did then it's probably a faulty test. If you phone the number on the box, they will most likely send you a couple of replacements.

Do you have another test you can try? xx

Thanks for the replies :flower:

I think I got enough pee on it I held it mid flow for about 4-5 secs. Then I put it flat and it flooded the test half straight away and the dye didn't seem to move across to where the control line is meant to be.

I don't have another test in the house and town is too far for me to go to a 24hr shop, I'll get another one tomorrow and let you know what it says :flower:

Deffo sounds faulty then, how annoying! Good luck for tomorrows test! xx

THat is beyond annoying!!!!! Test again sweetie!! GL!

Hi all sorry for not updating you sooner hubby and I have been house hunting and everything has been pretty hectic at the moment.

I didn't manage to buy another test the day after the faulty one, I was going to get another one the weekend just gone but suddenly started bleeding and really heavy too (It soaked through my pad, trousers and ruined our cream sofa).

I'm not going to take another test as I think it must have been the pill messing with my body.

Thank you all for your replies though and sorry for taking so long to update gl all :flower:
