What Hospital are you giving Birth at? And why did you chose them?

Loudon County Midwives Birthing Center, and I chose them because again because of positive past experience when I had my son. They have very low rates for C sections, low rates for episiotomies and other interventions, and my midwife prevented me from tearing while birthing my son. Looking forward to seeing them again

I am over in Washington State, America. I am going to have my Baby at Holy Family Hospital. Which is one of the 3 best hospitals in this City. It has an AMAZING labor and delivery floor, with the best rooms. Very lush. (CLICK HERE FOR VIRTUAL TOUR) Thay have a jetted tub and everything. I had my daughter there. And it was like I was a Princess. Not to mention that is the Hospital my Doctor works with..

I'm giving birth at the hospital closest to my home. I intend to do most of my laboring at home, so when I am finally ready to go to the hospital I don't want a long drive. I was also pleased to see they had one of the best vaginal birth rates in the state, and a brand new women and childrens center.

Just be careful. Some women labour quickly. My cousins first was 50 minutes and her second 20 minutes!

I'm with you bluefairy. I live in Aylesbury so stoke mandeville is a lot closer than any other option. It's not a great hospital, I'm pretty sure it's still considered to be failing but they have all major services on site and quite modern delivery suites. I really want to stay at home as long as possible though, so wouldn't fancy 45 minutes to the next couple of options. To be honest I'm not sure how much difference the hospital makes. I had my first at Stoke and wasn't impressed but People have varying experiences.

Mrs bump i'm 22w3d so we may even be there at the same time!
