What I need to organise!

This is mostly so that I can track where I'm at with the whole planning & organising shizzle :D

Church: booked, £50 deposit paid - £433.50 to pay
Reception: provisionally booked, another viewing on Tuesday 29th June 2010 at 4:30pm
Food: OH parents paying for evening buffet, OH's aunt is a caterer & will give us her time as a gift, don't have to organise what we are having until much nearer the time. My mum & I are going to pay for & make scones for cream tea. & sandwiches? Need to get tea nearer time!!
Cake: as a gift from family friend in Oz who is flying over! Need to check out ideas of things we may like. 3 tiers? Def fruit for top tier. Chocolate/sponge/lemon... unsure of flavours for others yet!
Entertainment: paying petrol money to OH's best man's band! Rolling Stones/Beatles/Beautiful South/Cardigans covers...
Dress: Starting to look in September/October as should have slimmed by then!
Bridesmaids, flower girls & pageboy: BM & MOH finding their own outfits, we are giving them £80 each towards dresses as they'll wear them again. They are buying shoes & accessories. Don't need to organise flower girls & pageboy until nearer date as they are all small.
Groom & groomsparty: Hire to be organised nearer time. Groom's suit... made to measure? Unsure. (He has very long arms!)
Flowers: Need to approach florist soon - maybe July or August?
Favours: Seeds or seedlings. Need to buy nearer time (dep on price)
Decorations: Martha Stewart pom poms, will make these starting June 2011. Fairy lights? Also need to organise linen rental & poss tables (if we want round ones)

Transport: OH arranging this.
Honeymoon: TBA around Nov/Dec/Jan? New York?
Hair & make up (& accessories): TBA Nov/Dec? Need to find some ideas. Thinking keep it natural & wavy (OH likes it!) - surfer-ish
Hen & Stag Parties: OH & mates organising his - they are going to Prague. I may be going to Spain for a few days - need to check with godmother & mum etc - also spa/treatment day which MOH is desperate to organise!! Because of heat & risk of dodgy tan we want to have gone away by late June 2011 - I want it organised by Dec 2010
Rings: Always looking! Want to have decided by March 2011
Jewellery & shoes: Bit kooky - two local suppliers in mind (can't decide which) - nothing organised yet. Coloured shoes?
Something old, new, borrowed, blue: Blue = vintage wooden butterfly brooch for bouquet, purchased June 2010! Borrowed = poss MOH veil as offered but depends on if it goes with dress. New = dress!
Presents for bridal & groom parties: Want this organised by June 2011
Bridal lingerie: Big pants etc, hopefully organised by Jan 2011. Also sexy undies for night :thumbup:
 
Sounds like your on the ball! I wasn't as organised as that lol. x
 
I keep thinking of extra stuff! :D

Church deposit - done!
We live in the parish next to the one in which we're marrying, which I didn't think would matter but apparently it does! We have to get a special license from the registrar, although I've looked it up & it looks as though they're two different things so I will ring the registry office tommorrow & check...
 
sure everything will work out and looks like your planning well lol :d we're getting married in 4-5years so i have loads of time although i am better with paper plans :D
 
i've got 5 days left and still have stuff to do! planning is all well and good but you'll still be panicking in the last few weeks, worrying you've missed something lol
