What is the difference between trying and ntnp?

I can't seem to get my head round it.

Me and hubby aren't using any protection at all, knowing full well we want me to become pregnant. Would you class us as ntnp or trying?

i see it as follows:

TTC - actively having as much sex as possible, trcaking ovulation, poss temping, pre-seed etc generally being obsessed and hoping for pregnancy every month

NTNP - having normal sex when you fancy it but without protection, happy to have a baby if one comes along but also happy not to get pregnant. taking things easy and slow. not testing every month and not symptom spotting!

I'm inbetween then! we are having as much sex as possible, not tracking or anything though, hoping for pregnancy, but we will also be testing every month and i'll probably obsess over symptoms!

I'm inbetween those, too! But I feel more comfortable here in the ntnp area - all the science and special techniques in the TTC forums is freaking me out a tad...

see we class ourselves as ttc, but we're not obsessing over it. we're hoping but not temping and stuff.
