what is this yellow stain in his cot?

twice now when i have gone into get the lo, i have noticed a yellow stain in his cot near his head. what do you think this is? could it be frm his cradle cap? cant be wee as its the top of his cot and also his sleepsuit is dry. its very wierd. any ideas?

We had the same thing! It also smelt a little like vinegar.

Evie had cradle cap so I guess it's part of that and maybe sweat too?

It's dried sick.

LO was sick one night and instead of waking her up and changing the sheet I just moved her to the other end of the cot.
When I changed the sheet in the morning it had dried into a yellow stain.

I'd go for sick ...
I know it's usually white but when Eleanor was younger she has had a couple of times her sick was yellow. Scared the crap out of me first time I saw it, but guess it's probably just when they're sick yet don't have enough milk left in their stomach (bile perhaps?).

we had a stain which turned out to be ear wax dont know what it looked like exactly as her sheets are either lime green or pink but it was sort of light brown...

yeah id say sick too, max used to be sick on his cot sheet virtually every night lol and it dried yellow
