Grrrrrr, I could be a bit grumpy today but I am sick and effing tired of ladies posting things they know nothing about. Has anyone seen the poll in TTC about unexplained infertility??? That she's looked into it and has a theory it could be from being overwieght or on BC for 10 years???? I am normal weight and was only ever on BC for a year or two before DD 16 YEARS AGO!!!! Stupid some people..sorry for ranting but honestly do some people not think??I don't even care if no one responds to this post, I'm that effing fed up today with stupid people. I know what I'd like to do with her poll

We discussed this earlier on another thread, lol.:hugs:

Lol, I haven't seen it (I stopped going over there a LONG time ago - too depressing) but yeah...

I do sometimes think this place is susceptible to becoming a giant exercise in Chinese whispers! i.e. there's a lot of "my theory is..." or "my cousin's boyfriend's uncle's friend says that...." I've even thought twice about saying "My FS says that..." because - who's to say my FS is not a complete idiot?! I don't think he is, but I know for a *fact* that my GP is! Others could be taking what their GPs/REs say and report back here as fact... long thread, lots of discussion, others have heard similar, blah blah, and soon it's the 'gospel' of TTC.

Of course the flip side is there's a tonne of good stuff here, I have learnt so much from everyone... it is especially helpful to hear what 'specialist' advice people have been given and compare notes, particularly if you have not yet been to a FS. And just generally get ideas for things to investigate.

But, yeah... there's still some crap around... I firmly believe any individual should do their research and figure out what's best for them, their situation. And take responsibility for anything you put into your body! Anything else, take with a pinch of salt*...

*not literally, that's not a TTC recommendation ;)

Tequila, a crack pipe, and a watermelon...that's all you need!

Well, September is dead to me...so vodka and a pumpkin!:hugs:

$26 for a pumpkin!

I have never paid over $3 and we typically go and pick our own for $1.

I nearly fell over too, but yeah $26 per pumpkin at Halloween last year. DH took that photo at our local grocery store.

I don't know where they get them to be honest, there's not much in the way of Halloween here.No kids come to the door, no aisles of Halloween candy, costumes etc. and the odd pumkin carved out. That's it really, I know when DS was in Primary school he didn't have a class party and they didn't do anything at all for it.

It's not a big thing in the Antipodes... or the UK really for that matter. Not sure about Europe.

I think its more a North American thing, the kids always had class parties etc for Halloween

Yeah that was a special...they charge $15 for a 15 pack of Coke here or 2 packs for $34, so 30 cans for $34
Ha, nice maths... I've noticed a bit of that going on here too, you have to be careful.

Yeah for sure... I remember a bit of scooping out pumpkins as a kid (in the UK), but practically nothing here... maybe 1 or 2 half-assed trick-or-treaters. But not even dressed up, I mean WTF?! No effort no chocolate! :growlmad:
