What the bump does.

So my bump just started more and to be truthfully it makes me feel hot as hell. I like see boys looking at it and it makes me feel better about it. Does anyone else feel like this or am I the only?

i feel that way sometimes i feel so much more sexier with my bump then i did before i got pregnant but other times i just feel fat and ugly but its completely normal to feel that way because its your wacky hormones

Oh my gosh I felt like it did the exact opposite for me! When I wasn't pregnant I constantly had guys stare me down.. and I don't know if it's because I'm observant or what but it got to the point where I stopped wearing make up and caring what I looked like because I didn't want to attract any more attention. Once people could actually tell I was pregnant I felt like the only looks I got were "holy crap that girls pregnant"... I no longer felt sexy what so ever. But that's okay I didn't expect feeling sexy to come with pregnancy wish it did though!

Funny! I feel that way sometimes. Mostly just around my OH , but he's always liked a little extra junk in the trunk haha- so an extra curve and some more squish is extra fun for him.

It's actually been proven that male instincts are programmed to be attracted to pregnant women because 1) pregnancy means they're fertile which since the beginning of time was a good sign. life is good and so is continuing the blood line. 2) curves are naturally on women to be attractive to men. Also because they mean fertility. big hips meant you would be good for child barring. You could carry one or more kids on your hips, you wouldn't have any birth canal issues, and you had strength(also why men are institutionally attracted to pregnant women)

Obviously, we've evolved and the ideal of "attractive" has changed and carrying out the blood line isn't nearly as important anymore as it was a few hundred years ago, but it is kind of built into human nature.

I think it's awesome to feel sexier while pregnant! Haha when I first read that it makes you feel "hot" i thought of temperature wise- which I can totally relate to because I feel like I have a tiny heater that's cooking me from the inside out all the time. It's winter and I'm barely wearing clothes that are meant for fall- I'm overheating and sweating constantly!

For real ! Haha, my OH is constantly asking me why I'm always taking my layers off, but damn! I get way too warm no matter where I am. It kind of makes me feel crazy

I think bumps do look really nice, especially when people have like obvious, cute round bumpsand haven't put on an awful lot of weight elsewhere... looks lovely.

I HATED my bump though it was so wrong.. I carried really low so I didn't have a nice neat all-over bump, just a sticky-out low one that never got that big plus my belly button COMPLETELY turned inside-out and stuck out and I gained lots of weight on my bum and thighs. I'd never felt so unattractive lol! So glad my body is back to normal. xx

you're a couple weeks ahead of me and your bump has obviously grown really quick! haha but we're carrying really similarly. I love the way my bump is growing and rounding out! Looks a lot like yours.

Kate1993-i know ive always thought about it because i was like i really want a cute maternity shirt for st. Patricks day and then my friend was like just paint a shamrock on your tummy and for all holidays like an egg for easter flower for may a sun for June a big fireworks for July a leaf for September and a pumpkin for October
