So, I ended up having regular contractions, about 2-3 minutes apart for a couple of hours, I am scheduled for my 5th c section on the 18th and had been advised to do to L&D if I started having contractions.
I go in, and they have down that I am 36w6day...I was 1 hour away from being 37 weeks (they have the wrong dates, mind you, I feel confidant about this, I am sure I am 38 weeks). They end up giving me 3 shots if this stuff to stop labor and 2 iv bags. They did the shots separately, spaced them out but they weren't working...I was there for 5 hours and they finally eased up a bit...
...if I had waited an hour and gone in when I hit 37 weeks would they have done all that? Should I worry about those shots? I tried to refuse them but the nurse was pushy with them and assured me that they wouldn't give me something tht would harm my baby...but now I feel stressed over it, and what happens if the contractions pick back up later on today??? Ugh!!! So frustrating!!!!
