Hi ladies,

I just need some thoughts on what I should do now: I've had 3 MC and have recently finished all the "tests" for what might have gone wrong. So far everything has come back as all clear (as in nothing wrong) and I am only waiting for 2 more test results. I should be OV tomorrow or next day and I'd really like to try again as it's 3 cycles since my last MC - but I am wondering should I wait? The specialist (Dr) never really told us to try or not try, they just said maybe they would find answers as to why we kept MC or maybe they wouldn't.
So I just really want to know what you think, and especially if you have any experience with this: should I wait until they find "something" (perhaps they wont) or should I just go ahead and try again.

Thanks in advance lovelies!

Hi Pea, I'm in a similar position. But one of my blood results showed I have a significant underactive thyroid which my doctor tentatively suggested could have been a MC factor. I need 2 more bloods taken for antibody checks before I will try again.

Oh, my (male) doctor did say that he and his wife experienced 3 consecutive MC's and there was nothing physically wrong with either of them, his words were "It's just one of those things", they have 2 lovely babies now. I thought that was very reassuring to hear that even doctors have these issues and cannot "fix" it!

Hi Pea! I agree with June, in most cases the doctors dont really know why we mc. I think there is a point where we have to stop worrying about how many more tests we can have, and take their word that its just really bad luck. I say keep going till youre holding your baby in your arms...Thats what im doing!

im sorry to hear of your losses ive had 2 m/c one then had a lovely and natural birth of my son who is now 2 and another m/c in may...

i wont be of any help but hubby and i are TTC again straight away xx

Its really a presonal choice, I think you have to ask yourself could you possibly go through another mc especially if the tests come back and it could have been avoided. I had all the tests done after the 3rd mc, didnt stop ttc in the mean time, they found nothing wrong with me and I still mced a 4th time, had a D&C that time and was awaiting the results on the fetal tissue when I feel pregnant a 5th time, seems to be sticking around. I just always thought what if the next egg was the good one and I missed it?? Good luck in whatever you decide to do hun!:hugs:
