What would you do if you won $50,000/USD, tax free, today.
[just under £32,000]


How would you use it?

Spend it all? Save it all? Spend half/save half? Pay off debt? Give it to charity? Share it with family?

I know we've all thought about what we'd do if we 'won a million dollars' or more but I thought it'd be fun to ask what you'd do with a more realistic amount!

Eeek, never thought about that 'small' of an amount.

I would pay off our debt. (10k - including car loan)
I would put 10-15k into Sophia's savings account.
2k each for Me & DH to spend how ever we choose no questions asked.
1k for Sophia to spend how ever we choose no questions asked.

20k into our savings or an account that makes interest.

I'm UK so I'm going by the £32,000.

3k towards debt repayments
2k each for me and OH
5k each for DS and future LO (savings)
2k on new furniture and bits and bobs for home
10k towards wedding and honeymoon
3k into savings as a nest egg

Pay off some debt 5k
Put 10k away
Buy a new car for hubby 8k
Finish decorating the house with the remaining
